MSI Interceptor Series Barricade ATX Mid Tower Case 3X5.25 4X3.5INT 2X120MM Blue LED USB3.0 *No PS*
Cons:material of trays and case lock is not that good
Pros:very tight hdd trays(no viberation) Comment:
The material of lock hole piece is too soft & thin, get bended very easily. The hdd trays are very tight, there's absolutely no viberation possible once the drive is pushed in and locked. But the materials of those trays are bit too hard. I notice very large white tracks formed on the sides after I pushed on the locks to remove installed trays from cases. And I was definitely very unlucky. I got a case with broken wires on the USB connecter at first, then exchanged for a case that's not balanced on the feet, it bounces when the fans start to run on full load. Kinda tired to drive to the NCIX store again and wait for store transfers. I'm a lazy guy, took everything out of the case once already, don't wanna do it again, so I balance it myself. |

MSI Interceptor Series Barricade ATX Mid Tower Case 3X5.25 4X3.5INT 2X120MM Blue LED USB3.0 *No PS*
Cons:Not much space for cable management, 5,5" drive bay covers feel cheap
Pros:Good color scheme, fans, sd card reader Comment:
Good overall case good fans and color scheme. Some parts of the case feel cheap and it is hard to manage non modular power supplies. |

MSI Interceptor Series Barricade ATX Mid Tower Case 3X5.25 4X3.5INT 2X120MM Blue LED USB3.0 *No PS*
Cons:-Window feels a little wiggly
Pros:-Looks good-Huge window-Enough space for a respectable system-Bottom mounted dust filters to keep dust out of your psu-Fan controllers that work properly-HDDs are really easy to install Comment:
I made a leap of faith when i bought this. There were no reviews and very little information available. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it. There isn't much to say other than it's a really great case and that the pictures don't do it justice This review was modfied by poster @ 08-23-12 06:54 PM |

MSI Interceptor Series Barricade ATX Mid Tower Case 3X5.25 4X3.5INT 2X120MM Blue LED USB3.0 *No PS*
Cons:- No removable front fan dust filter- One back water cooling hole/port/vent is taken by USB 3.0 connector
Pros:- Bottom fan dust filters- Built-in SD reader- Coated/Painted interior- Comes with 3 quiet MSI fans- Front USB 3.0- Long enough front panel cables for motherboards with central front panel connectors- Two built-in fan controllers- Tool-less side mount hard drive bays Comment:
I like this case, but it has a few short-comings (when compared to my Antec 300 case): there is no removable front dust filter, the front USB 3.0 is connected through the back motherboard I/O panel and the inside is quite cramped with an ATX motherboard.Even though the steel feels thinner than my Antec case, the build quality appears to be on par. The only exception is the springs which hold the top fan mesh. The springs feel kind of cheap. This is alright for me though as I probably will not take it off often after installing the top fans. I also kept the rubber covers on over the front USB ports to prevent dust build-up.The tool-less side mount hard drive bays work well. My 3.5 inch hard drives fit snugly in place. No bracket is required for 2.5 inch hard drives. Cable management is a little tight behind the motherboard tray though (despite the slight bulge in the side panel that does not have a window). The MSI drivers and utilities come on a DVD, so I had to squeeze my old SATA DVD-RW into the case. The thumb screws (which have springs) also work well: they hold my DVD-RW drive firmly in place.Overall this is a good case if you get it on sale. |
simply the best/ coolest case I've ever owned
