MSI K9A2 CF-F Motherboard - AMD 790X, Socket AM2+, ATX, Audio, PCI Express, CrossFire Ready, Gigabit LAN, USB 2.0, Serial ATA, RAID
Cons:Some components make it's hard to work with because on the place they are. Sata ports
Pros:Awsome Board for price. Comment:
Sommary of this board..it's a good board for the price with all the things that are on it. Would purchase again whitout a doubt. Got 2 PCI-E x16 slots for a cheap price. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-11-09 01:44 PM |

MSI K9A2 CF-F Motherboard - AMD 790X, Socket AM2+, ATX, Audio, PCI Express, CrossFire Ready, Gigabit LAN, USB 2.0, Serial ATA, RAID
Cons:Poor placement of SATA ports
Pros:CheapWorks Comment:
Board works and is stable so far, however unfortumate placement of some components makes it a trial to work with:SATA ports are directly adjacent to the PCI-E x16 slots, whe one video card is installed it completely covers SATA1 and SATA2 is an uncomfortable tight fit.Installation of a 2nd video card would render all SATA ports unusable. Truly a silly occurance on a crossfire capable motherboard. |
For the money paid ($87) This is a good board which supports all the newest cards and fits a quad core processor. I expect that with MSI's reputation this board will be working for many years into the future and will keep me happily gaming for a few at least :)
