AMD with SLI. I'm not a fan of ATI and ever considering that AMD and ATi got in bed men and women push ATI. ATI has realized this and dropped their good quality. So it's nice to see a single corporation creating a board i can use my favorites with. The board configuration is rather poor. My video cards cover all my other slots w/e to a single PCI-E 1. Putting the only actual PCI exactly where it would be under a video card (assuming your card has a fan) was just poor style. The drivers are fairly significantly junk. Particularly the auto installer. A clean OS on a 6 core with 16 gig of ram shouldn't lag, but with this installer it does. The only issue worse then the integrated drivers was when windows 7 decided it didn't like those and auto updated to even worse non-functioning drivers. Bit of guidance d/l your chipset drivers directly from nvidia.

It powered on, posted. Bios update was simple. Was finding irql BSOD in windows 7. Tried all new drivers. Flashed bios with newest version. Did memory examine. Ran it with only necessary hardware and still wouldn't function correctly. I bought a crossfire III board to replace it and haven't had any problems. Built in video card, handles 16 gigs of RAM, every thing else the specs say The power LED pins are only two pins wide. Most cases I've noticed have three pin wide jacks.

Uncomplicated Install, Operates Excellent Windows 7-64 bit,on board video none if you use as intended This is the second NF750-G55 for me. The 1st is more than a year old. They are both running AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz Socket AM3 65W Processors. They each preform Properly in daily use but I have not tryed something actual demanding. I would acquire once again if required

This board worked OK for about a week. then blue screed on me. stopped playing games. stupid items in the os would start out crashing. so i took all my parts of of it and tested them in other computers. all my challenging drives are fantastic and my video card. the only point i could not test is the ram and the mother board. new egg would not return them for me trigger i did not have the box right after 2 weeks. thinking right after a week of my pc running great that i would not need the boxes anymore i got rid of them. so usually hold your boxes. i know i ought to have went with asus but the cost got me on this! Purchased this board on June 1st, 2010 and paired it with a new MSI N260GTX Twin Frozr OC GeForce GTX 260 and 8 GBs of Kingston (KVR1333D3N9ǘG) and a decent CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-650HX 650W at the identical time (plus new drives). Around October 2010, I started to get an occasional freeze up throughout boot into either Windows 7 or Ubuntu. By December, this was happening four-five instances a week and by January 2011, the board would just freeze up on the MSI splash screen. Have applied this board a handful of occasions paired with gskill RAM and GTX 480 and 570 with Phenom II 955 make for a good performance per dollar setup.Haven't had a negative baord but Doesn't do sli at 16 and 16

Superior component layout overall. Effortless to install and set-up. Component installation and soldering seem really high high quality as does board materials. Will hold up effectively. Good cost for features/performance. Some headers are tight with large wide videocards installed. Could be hard to plug in SATA drives in a small case. My case didn't have stand-offs in the lower proper corner to match the board. Package is a bit stingy on cables. BIOS is quite straight forward. Layout is marked nicely. Have set the RAM FSB ratio to 1600 with my GSkill RAM with no ill effects as of however. Piece of cake! OC appears incredibly easy. Would recommend to other individuals.

-have got the mobo to function with 2 evga gtx 460 768mb. -unlocked my phenom II 560 proc.-1 of the few amd sli boards-lots of usb ports-eSATA-excellent motherboard in common as soon as you get it working i had a challenge where my usb ports and my sound wasn't operating. i had to find a psǘ keyboard in which i employed keyboard shortcuts to get anyplace. in device manager, two usb host controllers and my audio had a code 12 error... issue was fixed by uninstalling an ATI driver, referred to as ATI pci express ƓGIO) that came with the most up-to-date windows update.immediately after i got my usb ports and sound working the motherboard would not recognized 1 of my gtx 460. my 2nd was not in device manager or in the nvidia control panel but in cpu-z with "revision FF." so put the bottom card on top by itself and let windows update it's drivers. i then put both the cards back into their original spots and downloaded the most recent off nvidia and i got the SLI alternative in the nvidia manage panel. it took me hours to get this factor operating... but i feel thats what you get with an AMD SLI board.-this is not truly a con but only 4 pin atx. only will seriously influence overclocking six cores. also the reality that this is not completely atx. but in my smaller case (antec 300) it helped me manage some space

Overclock switch's work perfectly as advertised, increases RAM speeds, HT speeds and CPU speeds with a flip of a switch. on board sound has 7.1 channel selection. 6 usb ports! can in no way have sufficient usb ports but i cant figure out a use for all the ports on the board plus the ports on my case. if your a gamer as i am, and like to listen to music though chatting with your buddies more than ventrillo or skype, this motherboard supports output via bolth speakers and headphones on various channels, so in other words you can listen to music by means of your speakers and still speak to and hear persons over it by way of your headphones. none that i can discover it isint listed in the RAM compadability but mushkin silverline 2x4gb 1333mhz ram works perfectly, read the timings and speed perfectly on the initial boot.

This is not a evaluation. Just a question. I have a Phenom 9850 BE CPU, will that be compatible in this MOBO? Sorry about the question. Gave five eggs due to this being the only 'full-size' ATX SLI board available. I don't want to drop the $$ on new RAM only to find out that the CPU won't operate though.

This motherboard was straightforward to set up except for concerns with audio, but that might have been since I did not uninstall all the drivers from last motherboard. It is one of the few AMD sli motherboards for sale anyplace (also a con too due to lack of variety, absolutely nothing against MSI.) It supports SLI, I hope to get two GTX 460 1gb cards to put in. It has a lot additional alternatives for overclocking than my old motherboard, in spite of the old motherboard saying it was overclockable, but it could be mainly because of simpler design (I didn't know before the cpu frequency affected much more than the ram and north bridge, learned a thing from that). Not only does this motherboard support sli, but it is inexpensive too. It supports the AM3 stuff, and works completely fine. It isn't intel. I would prefer acquiring an intel board, not because they are much better, but because they support sli much better, and support far more RAM at greater mhz.
