No smooth installation

This card does not seem to want to install correctly on my intel chip and microsoft vista tower. I got a message saying there were errors generated during installation but when I try to review the errors (by clicking a VIEW button) no errors appear. Playback is choppy. Full hd is so choppy it is unwatchable. Audio gets out of sync too. No doubt this is because there were installation errors. I have uninstalled then reinstalled this card two times. Still no luck and I still have no idea what errors or warnings were generated.
