MSI Radeon HD 7850 Twin Frozr III 860MHZ 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2x MINI-DP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-None so far
Pros:-Relatively decent for gaming Comment:
I was wondering whether to get the 7850 or the 7870 and ended up getting the 7850. Although the 7870 would have better performance I am quite content with the performance of the 7850 and with the extra $100 I saved from not getting the 7870 I was able to spend the money on upgrading other parts. |
Finally replaced my aging HD 4770 with this, and it is a great video card.Max settings on all of my games (Including Battlefield 3 and Anno 2070) with 60+ framerates without any overclocking. I am using 1600x900 resolution, and running a second monitor which often has a movie playing.Temperature hovers around 60C near full load and 40C while idle in my poorly ventilated case on a hot summer day, but remains very quiet.Only problem I have is with the 2x miniDP, but this may be a personal preference. I prefer HDMI or DVI slots, but I accept that it's difficult to fit 4 on one back-panel.
