MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming Twin Frozr IV1040MHZ 4GB 5GHZ GDDR5 HDMI DP 2xDVI PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Expensive; No free gift games
Pros:Good build quality; Quiet; Running very cool Comment:
This MSI 290x runs very strong and very cool. The cooler GPU temperature is the deal breaker for me. At full load(BF3/BF4), This card runs between 64-74 degree, and the fan is not very noisy compared to my old GTX 680. This is an amazing customized 290X by MSI! Only cons is the price, after tax it is north of eight hundreds:D |

MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming Twin Frozr IV1040MHZ 4GB 5GHZ GDDR5 HDMI DP 2xDVI PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Overpriced
Pros:Nice designPowerfulExcellent cooler Comment:
The MSI's Twin Frozr does an excellent job, in comparision with the reference cooler (about 75 degrees Celcius versus 94 degrees Celcius). The MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming OC is on par with the GeForce GTX 780 Ti reference card, in term of performance. You can max all settings in any game you want, in any resolution, even in 4K (except maybe some settings, like anti-aliasing).I'm very satisfied with that video card, a lot more powerful than my old Ati Radeon 4850 ^^. If you build a new gaming pc, you can't be wrong if you choose the MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming OC. It's overpriced, but if you have the budget, go for it! |

MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming Twin Frozr IV1040MHZ 4GB 5GHZ GDDR5 HDMI DP 2xDVI PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Expensive.
Pros:Fast. I upgraded to this card from an EVGA GTX 770 as I purchased a 1440p monitor. This card is super fast. I can max all settings on Battlefield 4 at 1440p. Haven't run into any slowdowns yet. Max temp after a few hours playing BF4 is 75c. Comment:
If your running a 1440p monitor and are looking for a single card solution this is it. |
Great card from msi. mind you that you need a beefy psu to run these
