Mad Catz MCB437080013/04/1 R.A.T.7 Gaming Mouse - USB, 6400 DPI, Laser Sensor, Weight System, Programmable Buttons, Adjustable DPI, Interchangeable Pinkie Grips & Palm Rests, Red
Cons:Very very heavy, even with no weightsFeet are very small and not up to the task of supporting this leaden mouseGloss coating is very sticky/tacky like you just ate an orange not grippy.Required a new low friction mouse padCauses exstreem hand fatigue due to weight and size
Pros:Soft and almost silent mouse buttonsAdjustable in width, lenght with changable finger rests.Excellent quality |
Upon receipt and inspection of the item it was discovered that the description of the box was misleading. This cheaper " version " of the Rat 7 does not have a holder for the additional weights(as advertised)...so where do they go when not used ?Second the glossy coating on the mouse causes a sticky feeling constantly...not in a good way.Third the weight of the mouse with no weights and everything removed that can be is far greater than any " normal " gamer would want, this caused sore/tired hands within miuntes of use that never got less over a weeks use (long time gamer here).Fourth the feet are totally inadequate for its weight and size, the mouse feet are very thin, small and will require a new mouse pad to use it with out a huge amount of drag on a new Roccat Taito.Unless you like heavey slow mice that feel like you have sticky fingers (not sweaty) the quality is exellent, then pass on this one.
