A good product at a good price
Comment:
Works great. Plug and Play. Very quiet. Good price. I bought a barebone kit and it only came with two of the five fans that I needed for cooling. Still a good bargain though |

Great Replacement Item
Comment:
This unit replaced the fan in my Dell Dimension 4500 with only a change of the plug connector and 5 minutes work. I would buy one again if needed. |

Good OEM replacement
Comment:
Works just fine - quiet and moves air. Replaced original unit in a Dell mini-tower perfectly. 3-prong (for variable speed control from motherboard) or standard 4-prong plugs give you two power options which is nice. Just don't buy it stand-alone as the shipping was more than the cost of the fan! Add one to another order if you need to keep one on hand. |

it works
Comment:
nothing much to say. it works, it moves air. co-worker needed a new fan for his home HP pc after his old fan starting humming and making all sorts of noise and this replaced it fine. noiser then my Ultra 80mm and 120mm fans but not too much plus Ultra didn't make a 90mm fan so I got this one, plus it wasn't for me. It blows like its supposed to BUT--
Comment:
Its a fan--It blows as its supposed to BUT it is very noisy--I ordered the Ultra Quite fan for $14.99 and replaced this one. I would reccomend this one only for use in an already noisy place. |

Audible but effective fan
Comment:
Fan only comes with screws, there is no other type of mounting hardware included. I prefer rubber shock resistant mounts which were not included. Fan is audible but not loud. Cools computer effectively. |

Quiet and cheap!
Comment:
Great little fan. Only caveat -- the mounting screws that come with it don't have much lip on the heads. Mine passed right through the holes on my case! Had to add a small washer to each of them to get them to stay. Still, it runs quiet, so I'm happy! |

Perfect OEM replacement
Comment:
The OEM fan on my HP computer started making noise, and it appeared that the bearings were shot. This was the only 90mm fan in stock at the store, so I took a gamble and bought it. It was reasonable, so if it did not work or too noisy, I could always replace it later. It was a direct replacement for the OEM fan in my HP, and it was not noisy at all. It was as quiet as my PC was when I first bought it. My HP computer varies the speed of the fan, which is probably why it was so quiet. Other motherboards with less features may run it at full speed, which is probably why some people say the fan is noisy. |

Just what I need
Comment:
I bought this to replace my old fan which is making a lot of noise. I don't expect anything fancy about a fan. The price is good and it worked. Just what I need. |

It's not extremely quiet, but it's NOT excessively loud either. It DOES move a LOT of air. Don't know why others are whining about it being loud for. AND again it's NOT expensive and it's from here. |

Masscool 90mm Ball Bearing Case Cooling Fan
Comment:
I don't know how the previous reviewers are raving about this fan. I'm on my 2nd one in one day and both are loud. At first I figured I got a defective one so I exchanged it for another one of these but I'm wrong, it's still loud like a hair dryer. I'm an Antec and Thermaltake guy so this is the first time using MassCool. I'm about to leave for the 3rd time today to CompUSA and returning this brand. Now I know why it's $5 instead of $10-12 like the better brands. If you truly want quality, silent, and reliable fans stick with Antec and Thermaltake trust me that extra $5 you spend over the MassCool is well worth it for years. |
