Cons:Remote is one of the worst all-time. Responsiveness is terrible. Mediasonic support is terrible. No tool for updating firmware.

It was a great little device while it lasted. The media playing part of it broke 3 months after I purchased it. Attempts to contact Mediasonic are unsuccessful. And NCIX won't deal with it after 30-days. Now I have a glorified external USB enclosure, nothing more. |
So far, has been working like a charm. Supports .mpg, .avi, movie formats, but does not support .mkv format. Plan on using this for vacation to bring some movies for the kids - standard RCA connector to output to most TVs. Using a Hitachi 250GB formatted to NTFS.
