Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:
I find F-lock to be a bother.
Pros: Inexpensive on sale, has worked fine for almost three months. Comment:
On Debian, this keyboard surprised me, as many of the special keys were properly mapped out of the box. I had to write a script to keep the function keys acting as function keys (they default to some other commands unless F-lock is on, and it's annoying to keep turning that on), but even the calculator key mapped to gcalctool without any intervention. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:
- Nothing too fancy.- Accidentally hitting the 'hibernate' key in the middle of a game/work, etc, etc
Pros: - I opened the box, plugged it in and everything works.- Solid build.- Good price. Comment:
The only reason that I am writing a review about a mediocre keyboard is the fact that I have easily owned this thing for about 3 years now and it still works flawlessly - which is no surprising feat for an average keyboard in the hands of an average consumer. I, on the other hand, have spilled drinks in it, thrown it, kicked it, and even stomped on it in a fit of rage (twice, in fact) - and it just keeps on working.I'm not one to spend a bunch on a keyboard because the ones I've used in the past fall apart with nary a drop of water or an overzealous yank from the USB port. They have much to learn from the likes of the Digital Media Pro. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:
Could be more ergonomic
Pros: Excellent placement of extra buttons and the zoom key is quite neat when working with pictures Comment:
The keyboard is quite easy to type on and comfortable with the included wrist rest which could be improved as well as being more ergnomic by curving the keys abit more. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:None!
Pros:Smooth, silent operation and great looking Comment:
This is my second Digital Media Pro Keyboard for use on my downstairs PC. Great looking keyboard and matches the silver Microsoft mouse. Not overloaded with special keys and looks great! |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:- Keys might be too soft for some
Pros:+ Looks great; one of the few silver keyboards out there+ Soft, quiet keys+ Many multimedia and shortcut keys+ Includes a detachable plastic hand-rest Comment:
It is easily one of the best keyboards at its price-range. What attracted me to this keyboard was its silver design, which is a rare sight in a market saturated with black-coloured products. The keys are quite soft and quiet, which might dissapoint those that like a strong tacticle feeback. The keyboard has a multitude of hotkeys, such as volume up/down, my documents, etc. Each key is customizable, but require the installation of IntelliType Pro. The handrest is detachable without a hassle. Using it to play games is no problem; you can press upto 3 keys simultaneously without any trouble, e.g. hold W (forward) and D (right, then press R (reload). Overall, a great looking, easy to use and comfortable keyboard. Its modern styling looks even better in person. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:Whatever
Pros:Easy to run over with car in case of having a bad day Comment:
Meh it's an ok keyboard although considering it's kind of cheap look and quality. I don't really expect it to last very long but let's see what happens. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:maybe a bit too large for small desktop space
Pros:great looking, with programmable keys and price. Comment:
It's a very nice looking keyboard. The keys are easy to read, unlike some keyboards that are difficult to see especially in low light areas. The modern styling should blend in nicely with any system. Also, the keys are programmable, so you can assign the hot-keys to applications, or even key-strokes. |

Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard keyboard
Cons:- F-Lock is somewhat annoying and useless IMO- One side slides while the other doesn't budge- Noisy (if you like quiet ones)
Pros:- Good all-around keyboard- Comfortable Palm Rest- Big Keys Comment:
This is a great all-around keyboard. If you want a good Media keyboard, I suggest getting this. Also, some of the top CS gamers use this - off-topic but w/e just wanted to let you know. |
I play a lot of games and although I'm probably not qualified as a "hardcore" gamer, I lean more towards that side.I play first/third person shooters, rts games, mmos(in the past) and some more casual games and I found this keyboard to be quite nice.I originally bought this keyboard because my brother had it and I really liked the feel of the keys - they're very quiet and they feel smooth.I bought this keyboard on sale for 15 dollars, but I probably would have bought it for about 25-30 dollars because it is still quite cheap.Although it isn't the coolest of keyboards and definitely not gaming keyboard, I think it will work for most people, and it works very well for other work. I'd recommend this keyboard to any family/friends looking to buy a new keyboard.
