Cons:The clasping or holding bar is flimsy at best. Very awkward to place on laptop/hold in place.......

This product is not bad at all. It is not difficult to set up, as you plug in and Windows will download the latest drivers for you. One thing that kind of annoyed me is that I can't change the directory of where the video/ picture files are saved, there is no option for that in the Settings. But for the simplicity sake, I think it can compensate for that con. Good quality picture up to a resolution of HD 1280x720p(on a side note: they have quite a selection of effects to choose from) |

I've been quite pleased with this product. I originally purchased it as a birthday present for my younger sister, who wanted to do videos on Youtube of various esthetics methods. It didn't quite meet her needs as far as portability and viewing angle goes, but for my purposes (Skype, video conferencing, etc), it's been great. The picture is quite clear, it has good support on both Windows and Linux, and the framerate is reasonable.The only qualm I have with it is that its "powered on" LED is quite bright, so I have to unplug it at night, since it's mounted above my monitor. The bright LED is very distracting if the room is dark, even if you're not recording.
