Little bit of latency on the video captue, no way to attach it easily to the top of an LCD monitor

Cons:
-Effects and pan,tilt,zoom are not available when using any other messenger program other then msn.

I have been looking for a webcam with pan,tilt and zoom for quite sometime. Unfortunately, It seemed impossible to find a webcam with these features under $200. So when I came across this Microsoft cam I was thrilled and it just so happened to have an IR of $20It came with changeable faceplates so I could match my computer case, since colour coordination is oh so important when your female lol. When used on msn the picture is crystal clear and the noise canceling mic pics up my voice from 10 feet away loud and clear says people on the receiving end. The auto focus is great and even better is the face recognition. The only complaint I have is none of the effects or pan,tilt,zoom is available in other programs except msn. So if you use msn great but if you use yahoo , skype etc like I do then those features aren't available and it becomes just a plain ole webcam...boring :( |
I purchased this web cam so I could skype, and for this purpose it does the job, if your looking for more than that spend a little more money.
