Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student Retail version
Cons:none
Pros:Way easier to use Comment:
I've heard you can install this on up to 3 computers. so that makes for 3 cheap copies of office 2007. And well, some don,t like the new interface, but after a getting used to, it's the best interface I've ever seen. I can make documents that look 3 times better than before, and faster too. Definately a good one from microsoft (this time)And it runs on win xp, so xp + office 2007 rocks ! |

Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student Retail version
Cons:No MS Outlook :(
Pros:Loads of features Comment:
I am upgrading from Office 2000 haha. Previous versions didn't justify the upgrade but I felt this one sure did. The new interface took a day or 2 to get used to, but I really loved the new functions... the new Excel graphs are beautiful, and I like built in equation functions with MS Word. Great for Physics, math etc. Overall, great buy -- Would love to have Outlook back though. |

Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student Retail version
Cons:- Hard to get used to
Pros:+ Intuitively made+ I love the new functionalities and models+ New files are much smaller than previous ones+ Comes with 3 licenses. Comment:
At start I found it hard getting used to the new interface but now that I have I must say that I love it and when I come back to the older version I never find what I am looking for and I miss the intuitive new functionalities. Also the new documents are now smaller, if you save in *.docx *.xlsx *.pptx a file that could have weighted over 1 MB before because of the pictures you had put in should now be like 100 KB (10 times smaller). Also this edition comes with everything I need and 3 licenses for all my PCs. OneNote is a great product I made my new agenda in it it is very complex but feels very simple and intuitive to use. It is like an organized scrapbook. |
I actually haven't used this but my son has and after he got use to it, he is happy with it. Got it for $50 as a package deal with his new lappy for school.
