Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:None
Pros:TranlatingFeatures Comment:
From 2007 this is a huge upgrade. It may look the same in word but the other applications have been updated. Its not really the same. Word art has way better lettering and you can turn your pictures into a sketch striaght from word. A must have for students. Theres much more. And when you go over a option with the mouse it changes the writing and shoes you how it looks for a second and it has a tool that helps center titles and backgrounds. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:- like all MS products its a tad pricey
Pros:+ Retail copy / license can be uninstalled and moved to a different PC+ Fair price Comment:
Bought so I could have the option of uninstalling someday and moving it to a different PC. Only the retail license is allowed this right according to MS. Works like a charm too! |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:Again they change the menu's and placement of things :)
Pros:Much more stableMuch more faster Comment:
Overall ... MS has made HUGE improvements on their office suite - 2010 standing on top!The only annoyance would be the change of menu system and placement of features, etc ... again!Other than that - love it - great improvements! |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:None that I can think of
Pros:It's Office, and the retail license allows you to install the software on a desktop and laptop Comment:
When we looked into the licensing requirements, one thing that stood out regarding the retail copy of Office was that the software can be installed on a laptop and a desktop. This is excellent, and essentially halves the cost of the software between two machines. Would buy more. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:It isn't open source.
Pros:Compatible with Microsoft formats (duh). Opens ODF documents made in Open Office. 2010 no longer corrupts documents saved in ODF the way 2007 did. Comment:
This was bought for a client who specifically requested Microsoft Office. There is nothing wrong with the software, and they actually fixed the sorry ODF implementation in Office 2007. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:-still very pricey; the student edition should be enough for most people
Pros:-customizable ribbon-some nice new features in PowerPoint-a polished and stable version of Office 2007 Comment:
This is what Office 2007 should have been! The biggest improvement is that the ribbon is customizable, so the home tab contains only those features you want. For example, I have a lot of Review features now on the Home tab, and since I don't use Styles in Word (too much space, never looks as desired), I was able to eliminate it from the Home tab completely. And since my most used features are all on the Home tab, I rarely go hunting through secondary ribbons. Customization alone makes Office 2010 worthwhile. (It's especially good for PowerPoint, which also gains some nice media export features.) |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business

- expensive without corporate discount
Pros: + ribbon is better Comment:
Just bought this and I am pleased with my purchase. The ribbon is back, but by now I am used to it. This comes loaded with all the extras. Favourites like excel and publisher are included. Great for any businessman or student. I am satisfied with my purchase. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:
-cost, try buying this for 15 computers, gets pricey quick-poor support techs
Pros: -Overall better aesthetics-easier to use than previous versions-more capability Comment:
Although I recommend always going with the latest version of Office, if you have anything older than 2007 than its a must buy for any business or home office. The price is steep so try to find it on sale rather than the normal price. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:
Little change over office 2007, overpriced
Pros: Stable, fast, 64 or 32 bit Comment:
One of the best suites for business, educational, or home use for productivity. Little has changed over office 2007, except it feels overall more stable and faster to launch. Wish this was under the sub $100 range, as over $300 is too much for Microsoft to be asking for this product. Would recommend to anyone who need all the features of a full productivity suite, otherwise, just use WordPad. |

Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business
Cons:
-Ribbon interface is a bit iffy.
Pros: -Packed full of features-Good variety of tools-Improvement over 2007-Loads up faster Comment:
I have been pleased with the new office, it has a more sleek and polished look compared to 2007. Alas, the ribbon interface is still present but that I am used to by now. Overall it is great for its purpose. |
I bought this software so I can be able to type my documents into my laptop. My laptop came with an older edition and I felt that the need for update was essential and so I bought this. Throughoutly, this was worth the money and time and I really liked it.
