true to Microsoft, form this product was a complete monster to install. almost half a day just to track down the basic version to for down loading. Finally locating it through the help of other people who suffered before me with the same troubles, and not even on a Microsoft site. For the price, and aggrivation it is not the best purchase I have ever made , but a needed program. I think defusing an IED is easier than installing Microsoft products.

This is what the support team told me to do - It is very annoying, but you need to uninstall your current trial, download the ''backup version'' and install it. -- Go to the backup location written on the back of the product key card (I can't type links in here) -- Click ''Get a backup Copy'', MS will verify some questions but you'll eventually get to the download (411 MB)-- Uninstall your trial previous versions first, then install the backup download.

This product took me 2 hours to download. Instructions are contradictory and the Microsoft site doesn't have any info (and no-one to contact, of course). I don't recommend it - buy a CD instead.

Quick, easy to install and WORKS! This product even corrected a problem that I was having with PowerPoint and my screen saver! I used to have to reset my computer after viewing PowerPoint Presentations before my screen saver would kick in . . . now it works as it should!

Doesn't work with the version of software loaded on my toshiba laptop even though I bought it and the laptop at the same time

The program was pre-installed with Vista as the OS. After we installed Windows 7, we could not locate the pre-installed Office files, and could not download them from Microsoft's Server. We must await delivery of the physical disk (4 weeks). Instructions for upgrading to Win 7 did not prove adequate to avoid this problem.

I decided to purcahse Offie 2007 and went with the product key forthe price point. All I had to do was go to the link provided, download file and neter key. I was up and runnings super quick and saved $ from buying box at store. You do not have to download any so-called trials. If you read the directions, no issues. Great deal

I was under the impression the package included a Microsoft Office CD. Instead you get a code for updating an existing Microsoft Office software. I had to erase Office 2003, get the free trial for Office 2007 through the microsoft web site, then enter to code. I should have just order the product throught the microsoft web site.

The Word 2007 is the worst version I'd ever tried. My old Word is very profesional structured and admits personal configurations; this one is the kitchen version. If you are a serious Pro. don't buy it.

Had to have trial version already on computer and computer purchased within last 90 days. If card already opened before finding this out, cannot return. Very bad deal.

I tried to post my dislikes.it didn't like anything I had to say. But I HATE this product. too complicated to do simple task such as receive mail. See if this simple thing works.

The MLK works just fine, provided you follow the installation instructions carefully (starting by deleting any other ''trial'' version of MS Office from your computer). With a fast internet connection I had Office Basic downloaded, installed, and running in under 10 minutes.

If you need the basic MS office install it is easy with this product. Place your order and when the license key comes in you just go to the site mentioned on this page and download the installation software. No additional cost.

Bought a new compter and was not authorized to use the software since the main office product was not preinstalled. Had to return the package. Don't understand why 2007 basic is so configured and why I was not allowed to down load a trail of office to upgrade. Really wanted outlook.

I didn't need the OPK!! Computer came w/ 60 day trial of Office Pro. Got the MLK, installed the Product Key and it was activated. Also, went to the URL that was provided on the MLK to get the backup discs and that too was easy, free and quick. Love the MLK's, they are great. Use about 60 a week to deliver to people.

If you read the documentation included with the software it tells you how to download the install files directly from Microsoft's website. You also have the option to buy an install CD from microsoft for maybe $10.

Comment:
This is a good price on a what is basically a replacement of an Office product that came pre-installed on a computer system.
