On sale, this is a nice little beginner's webcam. It works as expected even in my Linux Mint install. All my programs recognize it and can use the audio and video. The microphone is quite sensitive and has both front and rear ports. There's a handy small front-facing blue LED that illuminates when it's active.It's not a high-end webcam by any means. It's 640 X 480 and I can't seem to get higher than about 7-8 fps. Also the mounting clip feels fragile - it's just a bendable metal strip housed in rubber. I'm worried if I bend it too often it will break.However, for the sale price I paid, I'm definitely happy with it.
