Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Cons:
Feels a bit cheaply-built
Pros: AffordableNo frills (could be considered a weakness)Good for people with big hands Comment:
I've been using this model on both PCs and Macs for almost ten years. It's a simple, reliable mouse with no extra functions or frills. Suitable for everyday, non-gaming use. Works well for people with big hands. It feels slightly cheap, but you get what you pay for. Luckily for me, I got a price match that brought it down to nearly half-price. |

I need to replace a PS/2 mouse and was lucky to see this mouse on sale. Microsoft has a good reputation on quality design of their mouse products. I never had a software incompatibility with a Microsoft product. |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Pros:-Good Palm Mouse-Price-Accuracy
Comment:
My first optical mouse was a Microsoft one. It lasted almost 4 years. I can't get over how accurate the cursor movement was with it. A lot of higher DPI mice sacrifice movement accuracy for movement speed. Although I'm now exclusively using high end Razer and Logitech mice, I still recommend these cheap Microsoft ones for family and friends, where lower DPI is actually better. |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Cons:- Lacking advanced features like side-scrolling, and back/forward buttons- Basic optical sensor may not be enough for some gamers- Has a cord
Pros:- Good tactile feel on buttons and wheel- Works with everything- Doesn't behave weirdly with certain apps like some mice *cough*wirelessexplorer*cough*- Will go until you physically break it- Can't beat the price- No special drivers needed Comment:
I've had a Wheel Mouse Optical for a very VERY long time. The one I own is a first generation consumer-level optical mouse. In that time it has seen four different operating systems and not failed for a second. It may not be the best suited for gaming environments where higher-precision sensors or more buttons are preferred, but for everyday needs, basic gaming, and pure reliability you can't go wrong. And it's well-priced too.Upshot: The best 3-button mouse on the planet. Period. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-19-09 04:10 PM |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB

Nice and easy to use mouse. Handy as a spare or temporary mouse. However, it can also be used for long term as well. I used it for my parent's pc. |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Cons:no Internet back/forward keys
Pros:cheap, good ergonomics Comment:
A nice cheap mouse, with the same feel as other Microsoft mice -- ie, suitable for average-sized hands for use for a long time. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of side browse back/forwards keys. I didn't use to need these till I got used to it with my other Microsoft mouse and an OCZ mouse; now I find I miss it. |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Cons:Not ergo
Pros:Very durable, reliable, cheap Comment:
I've used this mouse for gaming, word processing and daily computing for the last 8 years. It's generally very comfortable and extremely reliable. It's only recently that the mouse's LED started to flake on and off but it is still going. The curve is comfy for most, but not very so for hardcore gaming. I've had cramps playing Enemy territory for an extended period of time.I think I'll buy another one! |

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Retail Box USB
Cons:-none
Pros:-cheap price-performs perfectly-well built Comment:
This mouse works very well. I bought a few from last sale for my other computers. This product is very reliable and i would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a mouse at this price range. |
Purchased as a spare mouse for testing new builds. I have the slightly higher model with the two buttons on the sides and it lasts forever. Also have a ton of these at work and you cant really break em. Good mouse. I say wait for the regular ncix sales and grab yourself one.
