Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:have to learn a new Operating system
Pros:Works greatStableEasy to use Comment:
I can say easily that windows 7 is great. It installed with all my components without a problem and has been completely stable. I will be buying more eventually for my other computers (first operating system worth buying since windows XP). Not a memory hog like vista. Also nice that OEM copies can be purchased for a reasonable price. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:the usual Microsoft update triathlon
Pros:Fast easy and is actually a upgrade this time Comment:
Finally something that can top XP. Been waiting a long time for this. I personally have made a lot of money off of VISTA tho. I've had more house calls for VISTA then anything else. Thanks Microsoft for making everybody buy something that doesn't work. GET WIN 7 !!!!!!!! you wont be sorry, well except for me. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:Security could stil use some work.
Pros:Looks great, works fast! Comment:
Huge improvement over Vista in all aspects. It looks better, its a lot more responsive and vastly more intuitive. The search feature integrated into the start menu is probably one of the best features in Win 7. Its window management features are also quite handy. The new taskbar is a lot cleaner as well. On the other hand, being windows, it is still quite prone to viruses and it does not come with an antivirus built in. It really should. Built in firewall seems competent and UAC is not as obtrusive out of the box. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack

Good OS, nice and clean, easy to use. Save some money by getting the OEM disc. Who needs technical support from Microsoft anyways...? |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:Does require some half decent hardware to get full potential
Pros:Quick Speed, good security, extremely easy to use and great driver support Comment:
Overall this is a great step up from XP, and a great leap over Vista. Sure the OEM version does not come with much in the way of a package but that is good to reduce clutter around the workspace. If you need something quick and zippy, without too much work this is the OS for you. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:UAC is still horribly implemented, all the security features are still more of an annoyance than actual help, price
Pros:better than vista, good GUI, more features in the Home edition, suffers less from fragmentation than older Windows Comment:
Having to go into every single file and folder properties menu to change permissions and privileges for the files/programs I use frequently is a MAJOR PITA. It's either that or click a ton of pop ups every time I log on.The GUI is quite nice though, and it's a major improvement over Vista and older versions of Windows. Still, it feels Microsoft is still behind Apple/Linux when it comes to that feeling of a perfect OS. (Kubuntu/OS-X/etc) If the market wasn't so Windows dominant, I would have either paid the premium for a Mac or saved a hundred bucks and used Linux. |

Cons:None that I can think of

I'm a big fan of Windows 7. I install it on all the computer that I build. Very impressed with how it turned out. Having a better price for system builders is nice as well. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:I came over from XP, so still getting used to it.
Pros:It seems fast and to the point. Comment:
My first week with Windows 7 and so far I am pleased. I'm still in the process of moving my stuff over, but it looks like it will be easy to do with the easy transfer cable I am ordering today. Go for it, I'm surprised at the ease of the upgrade. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:- Still the constant "Restart Required" for many Windows Updates
Pros:- Better performance than any other Windows OS- Finally solid competition to Mac and Linux distros- Looks great, tons of built-in usability tools Comment:
By far the best OS to come out of Redmond, Windows 7 is leaps and bounds over Vista and a definite performance improvement over XP. Boots quick, remains stable and is shipped lean (i.e., fewer bloat programs than previous versions of Windows.) Windows Updates still require too frequent restarts, but it's far better than before. |

Cons:really needs at least 2GB of ram
Pros:Fixes everything about vista, great driver support Comment:
Been running it since it came out, great so far. No real issue with it. They should raise the ram requirements, cause it cant run it with 1GB |

Got this on sale for about 100 dollars. So far Windows 7 seems a lot better then Windows Vista. I was putting together a new machine and it was this or Windows XP. I would recommend this to both basic and advanced users. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:Won't support 24GB RAM
Pros:Very compatible Comment:
I finally upgraded from XP and I'm liking 7 so far, having 12GB RAM is nice, but my mobo can support up to 24GB but Home Premium can only support 16, still a good piece of software though |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack
Cons:None
Pros:ResponsiveQuick InstallStable Comment:
Since I was seemingly one of the few that actually liked and had no problems with Vista, I put off upgrading to 7 for quite a while. When I did switch over I had no issues, and it is faster and smoother than Vista. No compatibility problems, even though I had very few with Vista 7 seems to be improved. |

I installed this on my HTPC and its just great. Windows media center is fantastic on the HTPC. Overall it just looks great and has many features for HTPC. love it |
Overall, I love Windows 7. As far as the version goes, I prefer Windows 7 Ultimate because of the few functionnalities it has on top of Home Premium and also because you can download language packs straight from Microsoft Updates
