Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:none
Pros:Good OS, one of the best in years, highly recommend this over 8, if you coming from xp, as you'll feel more at home. Comment:
I chose this over 8, because i upgraded from xp, and it's very similar, less of a learning curve then going from xp to 8 for me atleast. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:Not a big fan of setting up Homegroups after being used to simple home networks in Win XP but I need to get a better understanding of what they're doing before I pass final judgement.
Pros:Clean OS.Nice visual features.Intuative design. Comment:
I've been using Windows 7 for several years now and it's been the most stable version yet. I didn't want to let go of XP but Win 7 has all the good parts with some shiny new features and a beautiful GUI. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:basic driver support after installation. will need to use cd's that come with hardware to install new pc components (fresh new build)
Pros:not win8, pretty much a click click click done installation. Comment:
Installed easily. Would use win8 if i was using a touch screen. Since not, win7 all the way. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:Needed to upgrade a lot of software & hardware because of the difficulty in obtaining updates or drivers compatible with the OS.Difficult (but not impossible)to run Litestep (or other replacement shells) due to the revised structure of the OS
Pros:Solid OSOdd numberedNot Windows8 Comment:
In keeping with Microsofts habit of producing a hit after each miss. Win98 after 95, XP after Millenium. MS unveiled Win7 after Vista (and, obviously, before Win8...) After living with it for going on two years now I'm still happy with the product. In fact I just bought another copy for a new machine I'm building even though Win8 is the newer, shinier OS. My only beef is that I can't reliably run Litestep as my alternate shell due to the LS "community" losing interest and drive to port the software to 64bit for Win7. Other than that it's great and does everything I need it to. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:None
Pros:ReliableOlder database of knowledge than Win8Fast when installed on SSD Comment:
I recently bought parts for my new rig and I was trying to decide which Windows to buy. Win8 is praised for its quick boot times under SSDs, but some users seem to dislike it when it comes to its looks and crash issues.I pulled the trigger on Win7 again because it has a much wider Internet knowledge database, lots of time behind it that allowed for fixing and patching many issues, a non-tactile design, and overall, it's supposedly a more stable operating system than Win8. I guess it's also a matter of habit, but I like it. Hopefully Win9 will be close to this. |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:-Not as fast as Windows 8.1 although it certainly is a photofinish
Pros:-Stable-Intuitive and Easy to use-Fast Comment:
I use this Operating System for my Work Laptop. It functions well, is easy on the eyes, and has up to date support. Never had an issue with it. For my Gaming Computer, however, I use 8.1 because it is slightly faster. tl;dr Get this for office use or for your gaming PC if you just really hate Windows 8.1 |

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64Bit SP1 DVD OEM
Cons:None that I can think of
Pros:Fast bootUtilizing the 64-bit technology wellMemory management is much better than XP or VistaClean and sleek design Comment:
I bought Windows 7 a few years back and it's easily the best OS that Microsoft has come out with (although I did like Windows 2000 haha). It's a far better OS than Vista and a huge upgrade to Windows XP.Now that the XP support is over, I need to upgrade another machine and I'm choosing another copy of Windows 7 rather than the dreaded Windows 8.1. |

Cons:none
Pros:Not windows 8, is windows 7 Comment:
Fingers crossed that windows 9 sticks to the trend. The only downside to this product is the RAM limitation, but I don't see myself needing more than 16GB before I need new computer anyway. |
