Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition 64Bit DVD SP1 OEM
Cons:Can sometimes be RAM hungry
Pros:Very stableGood lookingHave good backward compatibility Comment:
This is the Windows XP today. It could have been called Windows XP2 and it would have worked. I've been using Windows 7 since the first Beta versions and I love it. I recently had the opportunity to move to Windows 8 at a very low price, and decided to stick with Windows 7. While Windows Vista always felt like an incomplete OS to me, Windows 7 is polished and finished. While Windows 7 can sometimes ask for more RAM than you think it should, performances are great. Most computers today have 4GB or more of RAM, and this is very fine for Windows 7.Softwares that were working on XP most likely will work on Windows 7. I never had an issue with a "old" software/game that is more than 5 years old. It has very good retrocompatibility.I won't be going to Windows 8, as I feel like it is missing something. I will wait for a further version of Windows, possibly Windows 9. I want something that I could call Windows XP3.Good job on this one Microsoft. |
Windows 7 is the way to go. nothing more to say about a OS
