Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64Bit Full Version French OEM
Cons:- Interface modern UI- IE 10

Pros:- Rapide ...- Tres rapide !!!- Securitaire (storage space)
Comment:

Cons:Tiles on metro don't always workLock screen more a nuisance than any thingSame with the log on screenNot start button

Pros:Speedy boot times compared to 7Metro not so badEasily tweakableNot as monstrous as we were led to believe
Comment:
I've been familiarising myself with this new OS. It was installed on a new build. I figured, since the rig is new, why not load a new OS on it. Installation was quick and painless. During the process, you are invited to link Windows with an existing E-Mail account, such as Hotmail. Logging on Windows will use the same user/password. The lock screen is pretty, but you have to click on it to get to the logging screen. There are ways to disable this and to loggon automatically. Refer to Maximum PC's Windows 8 Tips guide for the procedures. The missing start button is a bit of a pain. The shut down button is deeply hidden in the "Charm Bar". Purchased Start8 to remedy this dreadful omission. Many utilities on Windows 8 have changed name. A couple examples are the backup and defrag utilities which have been renamed File history and Optimize drives respectively. Optimize drives runs on most types of disks, including SSD contrary to the old defrag utility. All in all, Win8 isn't as monstrous as we were led to believe. It takes some getting use to but can be optimized in different ways. And the start button can be recovered through different applications, free or not, throughout the net. Some little bugs here and there such as tiles not working on the first clicks will undoubtedly be addressed through future fixes. Nothing, however, that cripples the experience. I was debating as to whether I should give it a three or four stars. But now that I have tweaked it to my liking, I decided a four star was appropriate.
