Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 Keyboard Mouse USB English
Cons:Mouse feels cheap. Not high quality...usb transmitter died on 1 i bought about 6 months ago.
Pros:Cheap, Nice keyboard layout. Comment:
Despite one dying, they are cheap enough that I am not too worried. They work great, look good, and have a nice comfort...if you like the classic keyboards that is. |

Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 Keyboard Mouse USB English
Cons:- Mouse is a bit mediocre- Keyboard is too glossy
Pros:+ Great value|+ Keyboard is nicely made Comment:
Great value. Keyboard is very nicely made but it is too glossy. It leaves fingerprints too often but other than that, it's a great combo. |

Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 Keyboard Mouse USB English
Cons:F keys are pathetic, rest of keys are ho hum to use.
Pros:Wireless, small, lightweight, minimal extra junk keys. Works reasonably well with a tiny dongle. Comment:
Got this for the wireless keyboard. Wasn't hugely interested in the mouse though, but it still does get used.Mouse is a touch small for what I like. Otherwise it works reasonably well with only infrequent and minor loss of accuracy as typically seen with budget wireless mice when compared to wired mice. The keyboard though is utterly disappointing.- F Keys along the top:They are very hard to press. They are nearly flush with the keyboard, are very narrow, both of which make them very hard to hit on the fly without a fair amount of forced effort. They in fact have to recess into the keyboard to press, making it very frustrating to poke your finger into this small hole just to get the key to go in. Not intuitive at all, and so far have been impossible to press without looking at the keyboard.- Escape Key:Same issue as all the F keys. Not useful.- The rest of the keys:Don't move much when pressed. Their lack of travel distance causes an unnecessary amount of typos, especially when trying to quickly type / communicate in a game.- Very low profile keys:the low profile keys make the gaps between keys a lot smaller. This causes more typos as you might not realize you are as close to another key as you would expect if they were taller and had larger between key gaps. Larger gaps gives better tactile feedback to a user who is typing without looking at the keyboard.- Home/PgUp/PgDwn/delete 6-pack:There is no spacing between this 6pack of keys and the other sections of the keyboard, including the numpad.Same with the arrow keys. No gaps to either side of the arrow keys make them harder to find without looking at the keyboard.- Glossy finish:Who designed a glossy finish keyboard? Did someone seriously think that a keyboard wouldn't get fingerprints on it? The glossy surface looked fine for about a day. It takes very little time for it to look smudged again. I want to meet this person who thinks hands won't go near a keyboard. In the end, it works, is wireless. But I would never buy this thing again |
