I think I love this Mouse. the reciever/transmitter is tiny, yet it has very good range, and even gameing it doesnt miss a beat. It tracks silky smooth!, The transmitter stores in the mouse securely, I really do like it!Oh!, it has a blue laser...LOL

I think most of the features perform very well, but for people who are planning on using this device for drafting,the most important ones can be a bit problematic: As someone already said, the way the scroll wheel works makes zooming difficult, and for example, on AutoCAD, panning is very very frustrating. You have to try at least three times before you can feel you're pressing the scroll wheel just right, and this is obviously not practical. Another thing about it is that the mouse is a tad small if youre planning on using it for several hours, it cramps up your hand pretty bad.

Good tracking, comfortable, simple to use. Lasted three months and the usb dongle died. It gets so hot it burns. Good design, shameful quality.

The Mobile Mouse 6000 surpasses all hopes, dreams, and expectations of interoperability with my productivity essentials. It makes working EASIER. As a severely disabled vet, that's a HUGE PLUS. I mean, I can use this thing on the sheets of my bed and it performs better than earlier mice on specifically paired pads. This mouse, like every Microsoft product I've ever purchased, is the most wonderful technology equipment for the price on the market. Your company offers the products most Americans want, such as high-quality, high-value Microsoft products.

I wanted a high quality mouse I can use while traveling. The tracking quality on this mouse is the best I have ever used. Battery life is good. I was debating getting a mouse with the nano-receiver, or a blue tooth that would work with my laptop without a receiver. This works very well, no querks as reviewed with the bluetooth mice. I do not like the 2 side buttons, as they get pressed when not needed. Otherwise a great mouse fitting my traveling needs. Typically what I expect from the microsoft mice-keyboards.

This mouse really does perform as advertised. I only have one issue, but as it seems to crop up every few minutes, its probably going to have me replace the mouse sooner than I should. The scroll wheel is free-floating (ie, it doesn't click when it turns). That means that quick mouse movements can produce unwanted scrolls. It also bounces a little when I am trying to scroll. This is especially problematic when navigating in programs that use the wheel to zoom.

We recently bought a new laptop, and in the process, picked up Microsoft's Wireless keyboard and mouse with the Bluetrack technology in it. WOW, we were blown away by the comfort, speed and responsiveness of this mouse and keyboard. I've owned quite a few over the years, but none a solid and comfortable in my hand. Highly recommended.

It really does work as claimed on almost any surface. We needed something that would work on our shiny quartz countertops and it does. It even works on our patio table with a frosted glass surface, not perfectly, but still acceptable. I'd mark it down on value because it is a pit on the highend for price.
