Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 USB Keyboard

I build computers and sell them for a living. This keyboard sticks and skips. My customers have complained and when I check their complaints, they are justified. I won't be buying another Microsoft wireless USB keyboard.

Keyboard skips like no other and mouse is very temperamental. I though it was a great deal, but it was not worth it at all. Big pain in the rear.

Key board is junk. Keys stick or don't work at all.

I would give the 700 a five except that every few minutes the connection to the mouse has to be reestablished. I tried it on two computers. I tried downloading a fix from MS and finally gave up and returned it. Maybe somebody with more knowledge can figure it out.

Worth every penny! Works at a good distance, which wasn't the case with a competitor's combo. I didn't want to spend this much money but it got rid of my headache when I did!

Very easy to set up. Keyboard is working ok - a few keys stick at times and occasionally it will go into caps without the caps lock being on. However this is rare. Overall decent performance for keyboard. Main problem is with the mouse - when you click left it squeaks -so much so it is annoying. I am left to wonder if perhaps it is the sound of a dying mouse, and if this might be the last day of its mouse-life. I have tried to figure out if this can be fixed but so far have been unsuccessful. Not sure I would purchase this again. Might consider investing more money in a better model - or ear plugs.

Effective range only about 2ft. Would like to use from 6-8 ft. away - doesn't work.

Have had keyboard and mouse for about a month - keyboard still works - skips sometimes - mouse died about 10 days ago. Went back to old one. Not a good deal at all.

Once again my being a cheapskate has put me on the phone for an RMA with Microsoft. The mouse must have been fed some bad cheese because it stopped working after 2 months. And ''yes'' I replaced the batteries to make sure. Kick out some more bucks and buy the Logitech wave keyboard and mouse combo. Then you'll be happy.

Works well, had it a couple of weeks now. No problems with either component, however must state that the keyboard has a every limited range (maybe 5 ft. or so). Not a bad buy if you don't use the keyboard often.

Mouse stopped working two days after installed, keyboard three days! Save your money DON'T buy this!

love this product. It worked as soon as it was set up and that only took 15 mins. great buy. am considering the purchase of another for my other computer at home. highly recommend this keyboard and mouse.
