Microsoft XBox 360 VGA HD AV Cable

This cable works wonderfully. I have it hooked up to my 24" ASUS VH242H (bought from NCIX-works wonderfully) and the picture is great!This is for people with the original 360, WITHOUT HDMI. For those of you looking to use external speakers (i.e. not hook it up directly to your tv or receiver), you'll need:-RCA Audio Splitter Adapter (3.5mm Male to 2 RCA Female) (Stereo)-3.5mm Stereo Coupler Jack to Jack (Female-Female)-this is in order to hook it up to something that is NOT your TV/receiver. These are cheap extras, so don't like that be a hindrance.The other reviewer, "Pok", clearly has not actually *purchased* this cable, and is only whining about the price. You get what you pay for here-I'm running my 360 using 1080p and the picture works wonderfully and smoothly with no hiccups.I take off one star for not having the above accessories packed in, but it's very Good- I would purchase again.

This cable does not worth it unless you wish to play xbox 360 with your computer monitor. Because its expansive, it does not worth it. But if you are able to find a good price match for this item (around 35$), maybe it would be a good purchase if your living in an apartment and you have no TV.The problem with xbox products are the same as Mac products. There are not reliable. You must buy the microsoft xbox 360 cable when you want to play on a computer screen.It would have been great that microsoft use standard cables like the pcs do.Anyway, this is not a cheap product however. The package is pretty heavy for a small cable.Its funny when you thing that 5 or 6 times the price of the cable and you have an xbox 360.
