Cons:- thumb and dpi buttons feel a bit cheap and easy to press, but once I got used to it it wasn't a problem.
Pros:- high quality- best feeling mouse I have owned (palm/finger grip)- one of the best optical sensors on the market- scroll wheel is solid and well placed- software has been easy to setup and use- color options are vast |

Cons:Price is a bit high got mine 60$ on sale though I would prefer a stickyer suface this matt finish is nice in its own way thoughCould have a weight system like the naos 5000 series does but to me the weight feels perfect for some it may not.

This mouse is great Ive been using MX510-G400 mice for 10+ years now and i find this Naos 7000 To be more comfortable and easyier to grip then even my Tried and true favorites which i am very used to gripping. The shape keeps my pinky and thumb off the mat which helps alot with draging finger issues. Tracking is great - Software is easily adjustable and works as well as any of the other mice ive owned "Logitech , Razer , Rocat , ect"Ability to turn on or disable Angle snap or prediction is a great feature. Adjustable 3 stage DPI is nice you can change it to what ever stages you want although i personally will never use 7000dpi i have it maxed x 3200 lol. Optical sensor widely considered to be the best or in the top class of sensors with no acceleration or decel and top notch tracking speeds. Braided cable which is nice keeps the cords from ever getting cut i have some nice gouges out of my G400 cables which aren't braided so i think this is a really nice touch. I cant put the comfort of the mouse out their enough it fits like a glove really If this mouse dies i will buy another even though i now have 2 extra G400's in a drawer as spares I consider myself officially switched over to this design. The only other companies i know of with design like this "razer naga / Func mouse" are using Laser sensors which are ok but not as good as optical so there ya go. =====================================================Only Real Con for me :While the mouse is nice to grip because of the shape the matt finish mimics rubberized finish but its not rubber and my hand doesn't grip it like actual rubber either they probably did this for durability though because in the past for instance my (razer Boomslang 2007 LE) the rubber peeled off and it was a RMA nightmare for Razer. I find smooth/glossy finishes like on the MX510 to be stickier then this matt finish but i'm being kinda nitpicky i guess I just wish it was a little stickier grip wise but its plenty good due to design anyways and really the matt finish isnt terrible for gripping either or anything i just think it could have been better with a different finish but perhaps like i said durability and ok grip is their concern over just high grip and low durability as rubber can wear off. 5/5 from me because i don't think finish choice hurts the product at all and is just me pointing out one possible negative even though its still great. I feel this is one of the best mice on the market. It could have had a weight system like the 5000 series does though but for me ive never had much use for them and it feels like proper weight for me anyways! |

Cons:- Very precise switches underneath the Left/Right buttons that clicks instantly, however they are quite loud and really much more than my Rival.- The softness of the surface is a Pros/Cons as it's confortable as hell but way too splippery to be lifted around the pad. It's shape doesn't help either as there's nothing to grip on the right of the mouse but you won't care much if your a high-sens gamer as only very low sensivity gamers tend to lift their mouse.- The shape is mostly a Pros but it can be a Cons too, mostly if you're more of a CLAW user like I am which is prolly the main reason I will stick to my Rival even if I love the Naos and that it remains within my Top 3 as a close 2nd. It will be the most confortable mouse ever if you palm it but if you try to claw it, I'm not saying that it isn't possible but it will often feel somewhat strange and you will often need to reposition your hand on it because the sweet spot to claw it is hard to maintain.. even more considering you can't lift/grab them mouse and that it's slippery.
Pros:- BEST sensor on the market as of (April 2014). The (Adago ADNS-3310) have absolutely zero acceleration and its precision is 100% perfect! It also allows you to set the lift off distance while the (Steelseries Rival) do not even if it uses the same sensor.. however it's not much of a bonus as I'll explain below.- Mionix mouses always come with the (S.Q.A.T. // Surface Quality Analazing Tool) which is really a great bonus imo. More on that in the summary below.- The softest surface I ever felt on a mouse, thanks to the 4 layers of rubber they've put which also mean it's gonna be very durable.- Quality mouse wheel, louder when scrolling up than down though but it's the same on my (Steelseries Rival).- Very cool LED, I like them mostly when set to "Color shift".- It's lightweight.- Braided cable.- There's no space underneath the Left/Right mouse buttons which is something very rare. It means no dirt will manage to get stuck underneath near the edge/side of the mouse.- Side buttons are well placed as the farthest one from the thumb is hard to hit on the Rival. However don't count much on them while gaming, at least for the farthest one as I can easily use the closest one from throwing grenades in BF4.- The most ergonomic and confortable mouse on the market for someone who's mostly a PALM user.- Very huge tefflon feets that everybody should copy. I so hate expensive mouse using tiny feets that will wear out in a matter of time. Comment:
I bought that mouse on sale at 70$ for a friend as he was still gaming with a 5$ HP wireless mouse lol so I really encouraged him on getting a real mouse and he trusted me for this model as I've owned over 10 mouses and tryed many more since I have computers. Paired with a (Steelseries Qck Mass) cloth pad at 13$ it's a really winner combo and will track at 8/10 according to SQUAT. Honnestly beyond that the sensor will notice but in pratice you really won't notice the difference with a 10/10 like when I use it on my (Steelseries 4HD). So ya in fewer words among all mouses on the market, my #1 suggestion would be this mouse for palm users or someone that does more office than gaming, else the Rival for claw people. Here's below my squat values from my few tests. At 1-2 it doesn't track at all, at 3-4 it keep skipping, at 5-6 it start being decent and usable though you don't get the full potential, 8 or 10 you'll have a hard time noticing a diff.10% (In the void.. facing either floor or ceiling. I am a heavy gamer and have owned Microsoft IntelliMouse, Razer DeathAdder and the SteelSeries Rival. The Naos 7000, though the lightest in weight, has been the most solid mouse I have used and owned.
