it's just sata cable, there isn't pros or cons really, as long as you have uv light in your case it'll lit up.

The drives in my file server are right next to the SATA ports, so I figured I'd get some short cables to get rid of the clutter. This cable is also available in different colors which is nice for differentiating my drives. Pricematched these for $1.50 a piece.
