Monster Advanced HDMI High Speed 3 Way Switch with IR Learning & External IR Receiver
Cons:Design flaws
Pros:Good Quality / Works well Comment:
This HDMI switch does exactly what it's supposed to do. So far the switching was proper, managed to get it to work with my Logitech Harmony 1 controller. Only issue is the back-end connectors, they can disconnect at any given time.. The way it is placed is somewhat not suited for the hdmi cable. |

Monster Advanced HDMI High Speed 3 Way Switch with IR Learning & External IR Receiver
Cons:Price
Pros:Okay switch, a little over-rated Comment:
This device allows you to use up to three devices with HDMI outputs on a TV with just one HDMI input. It is an excellent product once you learn how to use it. There is a secret you need to get it to work though--you can't just manually switch between devices: you must use the "learn" function on the switcher with ANY remote and do that for all three inputs. (Even if you are only using two inputs.) If you don't the device will switch between, say, your PS3 and satellite box without warning. It did that with me several times right as I was trying to do gnarly maneuvers in Grand Theft Auto IV. |
I read all the bad reviews saying it switches inputs on itself.Mine did it a couple of times...am not sure yet if I like or not.199$ is way too expensive, I got it at 49.99 which is ok
