I bought this thing to give my electronics some more protection and it was $89 from $149 so it seemed great only, it's massive, and it has a 10 ft. cord! The design looks good and it has a tonne of features like USB charging, ethernet protection, coax protection, telephone line protection, etc. You can even use this thing to send internet signals through the power outlets (PLC). I was impressed that my iphone 3gs actually charges on this thing and it's white (I have a black and white theme going on in my room). $89 is still a lot for a surge protector and I really can't tell if the power is "cleaner" but I hope it at least helps me cut down on the electricity bill. The power only shuts off the attached components to like a desktop and the attachments will shutoff as well, I thought it would shut off power to all turned off electronics, better than nothing though.
