Very good solid RAM. It's not the sexiest factor out there, but it is trusted and inexpensive. Making use of two of these in an Asus M2N-E mobo for a total of 8GB. Couldn't be happier. It doesn't turn me on even though it's naked.

It was low cost. Had excellent specs. DOA, will not boot, just blank screen. Tried in two operating computer systems, alone and with each other, all slots. Both modules terrible. The Mushkin internet website only listed five compatible motherboards. My ASUS P5B-Plus had 4x1GB ﴠMHz. If I kept two old modules it would boot but BIOS recoginized additional RAM half of instances. Tried 667MHz but no enable. Memtest86 was strong errors. If Mushkin only, no boot. Tried in Biostar TA-690G and got lengthy beeps.

Excellent memory - has worked flawlessly in my system. I purchased two 4GB memory kits from Newegg, and following installing them and verifying almost everything was OK, I went on the web and set up the rebate info online via Mushkins' internet site. It would only let me to pick a quantity of 1, which I did, printed off, and then marked on the type that I had truly bought two sets, so the warranty really should be for 2xฟ (ฮ total), and then sent it off (with the UPC codes reduce from the memory packages). Now soon after almost 3 months I got the warranty verify in the mail currently, and guess what? It's only for ฟ. If you acquire this memory, don't anticipate Mushkin receiving the rebate appropriate! Manufacturer Response:Greetings! Per the terms of the rebate kind. The rebate is only valid for one rebate per qualifying obtain and one rebate per household. As such, only one particular item per promotion is eligible for a rebate. Thanks!

Performs fine in my mobo ... but only with one particular stick. My mobo only functions with 1 stick of this memory. Like I wrote, for some cause my mobo (Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L) can only deal with 1 2GB stick of this memory. Not positive no matter whether the challenge is an problem with the mobo or the memory (though I suspect it's the mobo's fault since some other persons reported equivalent issues with other brands of 2x2GB kits).

its a mushkin says five-5-5-12ʁ.8V on newegg internet site. when i recieved pacakge it had sticker with five-five-five-18. RMA-ed it. not opened/tested... only got this due to the fact it specifically mentioned it can run at lowest jspec memory voltageƑ.8V) and it was mushkin. Manufacturer Response:Thank you for choosing Mushkin. the JDEC normal for this part is 5-five-five-18 at 1.8v. Mushkin tests all of our EM series memory above the JDEC spec, nonetheless in order to comply with JDEC regulations we spec this kit to five-5-five-18, on the other hand, 5-5-five-12 can be accomplished very easily by tweaking the bios. If you want enable doing this please make contact with our assistance team at 800.569.1868. Thank you extremely substantially.

Fits well in small kind issue Computer- no space for large fins or extra tall chips- heat doesn't seem to be a challenge yet. Wonderful worth with mail in rebate. None so far. 2x4GB sticks in this class are way also high-priced! I had to settle for this for now.

I've run this RAM at 5-5-5-18, five-5-5-12, 5-5-four-12, and five-4-four-12, all at 1.8V,1.8V,1.8V, and 1.9V, respectively, all with no instant problems. I have set the RAM back at it's suggested five-5-5-12 timings, and have never ever had any challenges. It won't boot at 4-four-four-12 even at 2.2V. I ran across challenges and freezing at five-4-four-12 at 2.0V while trying to use up the memory in windows. But that's all beyond it's advertised functions. I don't know what's the challenge with customers posting testimonials just before they even acquire a product, or just before they get a chance to completely discover the solution. These youngsters writing 2 testimonials? Writing a evaluation because you received the incorrect item? These critiques are for you to write your practical experience with the item. Not with Newegg, not with one more solution, nor something else not directly pertaining to this particular solution. See the Item Evaluation Suggestions? Study them please.

Used this to go from 2GB ƒx1GB) to 4GB ƒx2GB) with Vista House Premium. Preplaced DDR2-667 RAM with this, and my Vista memory scores went up just about half a point. Content with excellent efficiency at stock 1.8v. Wish they had heatsinks, but I guess at stock voltage it truly doesn't want it.

Affordable 4GB memory. Cheap 4GB memory. My technique kept on receiving BOD's constantly with this RAM. Couldn't finish installation of Windows Vista or XP. WMDT tool inside Windows Vista tested the memory as negative. I also downloaded memtest and this memory failed. Ordered different memory and every thing performs fine now. Possibly I was just unlucky, but I discovered that you get what you pay for and it this case it didn't turn out great for me.

Packaging was simple to open. Utilizing 4 sticks Ɣx2GB) on an Intel BOXDG35EC motherboard. In the days following install, the Computer became increasingly flaky more than time (sudden reboots) and ultimately would not boot, not even show the BIOS screen. I borrowed some Kingston memory from yet another Pc and the Intel board was substantially happier and stable. I originally thought the motherboard was terrible. I've had good luck with Muskin in the past, I have 4GB of Mushkin memory in the Macbook that I'm typing on now. I was just certain the Mushkin memory couldn't be the cause of my system's instability. But it was. Lesson learned, and my last Mushkin obtain. Manufacturer Response:Greetings, Please get in touch with Mushkin help at 800.569.1868 or support@mushkin.com. A single stick will work out of the two, constantly. One memory module dies for some reason or an additional I purchased this set and installed it. It worked effectively up till a few hours. Soon after a handful of hours, I began to discover errors inside Windows. I ran Orthos and positive adequate, error and unstable.I ran Memtest, thousands of errors. I tested each stick separately and only a single was negative.I RMAd it. Received the new kit last week. Set up it these days, it worked for a few hours even though running Orthos. Following leaving it overnight and coming back to it, I seen Windows had restarted and that a file was missing.I ran Memtest, positive adequate, thousands of errors yet again. Once more though only with one particular stick.I attempted manually setting the timings within the BIOS but no luck.I'm going to ask for a refund. I went ahead and bought standard Important memory.

Rebate center said Mushkin place a hold on the checks. I still would not do organization with Mushkin once more. FSB on my ASUS MB and QX9650 = 1700, not as well shaby.

One particular of the two sticks worked extremely nicely! The 2nd stick caused memory errors on vista load. Right after checking each and every stick by itself, it was clear there was a difficulty with one particular of the sticks. Presuming you don't get hit with a DOA stick, the ram runs fantastic. I sent each back nonetheless and replaced with a similar 4gigs of ADATA ram.

8GB for 贶, turns any desktop into a great multi-purpose workstation. None so far. I got this memory due to the fact it was 1.8V which elevated the likelihood it would perform with any OEM computers or Intel boards. I also like how this memory is just memory and not a Xmas tree.

It runs fine... at slower settings than claimed ƕ-5-five-18). As I was peeling off the stickers that Mushkin idiotically put on its modules (many companies do this; but they make the chips hot) I noticed they mentioned ř-5-5-18". So I came back to check my order, and indeed, I ordered the ř-five-5-12" model. Now, in the reviews... it looks like A) one more particular person had the very same practical experience, B) nobody has stated they CAN attain 5-5-5-12, C) most have mentioned they CAN'T, and D) even Mushkin says they don't spec their RAM at five-five-five-12, only 5-5-5-18. Which suggests, by default (from reading the SPD), the ram will run at five-5-five-18!Considering that my GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard in the similar shipment - which I flashed with the newest bios (adding no added bios choices, regrettably) - does not help manual memory timings, or even display the memory timings, I can't say the modules are incapable of 5-five-five-12. Just that they will only run at 5-5-5-18, because Newegg/Mushkin are promoting five-five-5-18 modules mislabeled as 5-five-five-12, for more money. Shame on Mushkin and Newegg (for selling me a certain product, but sending me a less expensive, inferior version) and Gigabyte (for getting such poor BIOS settings).News for Mushkin: If people today want JEDEC-typical components, they'll buy them. If folks purchase some thing else from you, you are legally obligated to sell them what they spend for, not a thing else that "is not rated as what you paid for, but will almost certainly function, in some systems".I consider this just as negative as promoting a person a "Retail Intel 2. GHz Core 2 Duo" and then shipping a 1.83 GHz model that "overclocks genuine fantastic".

This memory is compatible with notoriously finicky Intel DG965WH/DG965OT motherboards. Installed this kit on these motherboards and they boot with totally no issue. I tested this memory with MemTest86+ for 24 hours ྴ complete passes) devoid of error. This memory is solidly trustworthy. Memory also runs quite cool and does not require heatspreaders. There are none for my application. I am pleased with this memory kit. Good worth for the funds. I have been utilizing this memory for more than a year without incident. SPD of this memory is programmed for five-5-5-18 (the official JDEC spec) though it is advertised for five-five-five-12 timings. I noticed some reviewers of this site have grow to be annoyed more than this. Just go into BIOS to plan memory timings to 5-5-five-12 as an alternative of RMAing a perfectly fantastic memory kit. This memory operates flawlessly at these settings.

My normal for stuff like memory is that if I have to believe about it, it's a failure. I clicked these sticks into my Asus P5K-E and never ever paid any interest to them afterwards. Program tests say everything is fine. No news is spectacular news. The plastic situation made me homicidal, but then once more, everyone is carrying out the similar hermetically sealed difficult plastic instances for everything.
