I have used other mounts that are terrible. This one is solid as a rock and I like that. Yes there is a hollow space for cables, but not wide enough for a VGA or DVI cable. Solve this and Mustang would be the perfect one. I like having the 3 piece bars so I can determine the length I need in each individual case. They also include lots of extra mounting parts so you can choose the parts you need for your projector.

In most respects, this is a great mount. The only thing I dislike about it is that the plate that connects the riser to the ceiling plate doesn't actually bolt to the unit. It just hangs in a groove from the ceiling plate. Unfortunately, it can move... like from vibrations from the floor above. Generally not a problem, but it does have to be repositioned once in awhile. Kind of a pain when hung from an 11ft ceiling.

This mount did the job very nicely. They include every screw under the sun to really make sure it is universal. The only thing that wasnt included was the actual bolts to attach it to the ceiling. I had to go and pick those up at the hardware store.

This mount is nice it is flexible enough for what we needed. It is installed and working for us.

This mount is nice. The 3 star is because you can find it cheaper , sorry guys, I still love you though...! Other than that, SOLID. Would for sure recommend, or buy again.

Can use this mount in a lot of different installations, as little as 12" all the way to 33", sloped, canted,etc.

This is a good mount. It had everything I needed for a good, clean installation. This mount adapts well to item Item #: P89-1020 Peerless Suspended Ceiling Plate, and it looks good together. There is provisions to run the cables through the pole, and I suggest doing so before inserting the connecting bolts.

Its an OK mount. And it came with a whole mess of mounting screws. The instructions on how to make it different lengths are not included and we had to do a little improvising. The screws it doesn't come with is the ceiling mounting screws which is fine since we would have used out own anyway. Definitely needs new set of instructions though.

This is a well put together mount. We are using it in a church setting and, altough we had to extend the center piece of tubing, it is still very adequate for our need. However, it does not come with the screws to mount it to the actual projector, so you will need to go out and buy them.

This mount is simple to put together. It is strong and has nice vewrsatility. If you bought an optoma DX605 you will have to go to the hardware stor for the screws that mount the projector to the mount. Don't forget to get proper washers as these screws are fairly small. If the screws came with the unit I would have gave it a 5 star cause I hate haven to go to the hardware store in the middle of an installation.
