I think the mount is actually heavier than my projector. But it is good and solid. It came pre-assembled in the box and was pretty simple to just change the arms on it to the ones I needed and line them up with the screw holes on the projector. Lots of screws and spacers to choose from.

This is a very solid mount. When I received this, I was surprised at how heavy the box was. When I took the mount out of the packaging and handled it, I was very impressed. We bolted this to our stage lights mounting bar after attaching it to the projector. There is no movement once you tighten the nuts (hex head) for each pivot point. Some of these might be difficult to get to but plan it out before you get on the ladder. There are several arms and connection points on the mount for your project. It comes with 4 arms connected and another 4 you can use if you need another size. Our projector only used 3 arms so we took one off. This is a great mount and I could not be more pleased! Note: The instructions are not the best, but just use some common sense and plan ahead and you will do fine.
