Price great, some incompatibility
Comment:
Installed refurbished models on two machines. No documentation or drivers with adapter, but downloaded drivers ok. Installation worked fine on Vista machine, On XP machine, there was interference with the wireless mouse, and I had to uninstall that. |

good product
Comment:
Since not new, didn't include CD or install book. Install book downloaded useless. Finally obtained functionality when took it to my internet service provider to program this puppy. other than that, now seems to work fine. My wide-band in the boondocks is wireless, not usually mentioned wide-band. Required you to click on an icon and manually connect to the internet. Now on full-time, merely click on my browser icon to connect to the web. This evidently IS different. |

As Advertised
Comment:
Don't know what's with the bad reviews, this thing rocks! Follow instructions, download software and install. Works better than card with antenna that it's replacing (I have it attached to the monitor using included extender cable, as recommended). Full strength, fast, and Open connection for game system that's sharing the link. |

garbage
Comment:
Never buy recertified garbage. Terrible to install without internet connection and as usual no resource disk with recertified garbage. Price was right for garbage. When i did get it installed would lose signal to desktop computer that was 30 feet away. |

Good But A Little Tricky
Comment:
If you have an internet connection let your computer do all installation. Do not bother to download any software. For this adapter to work well it MUST be mounted horizontally, not vertically as it would be just plugged into a rear port. Pros: If installed correctly it gets a little better distance than cheap adapters. But a good external antenna adapter with a directional antenna will kick it. Cons: Not nearly as powerful as I was led to believe. Reports of 1000 feet are out of the question with the adapter I received. I would say 125 feet max for a workable (but poor) signal. This unit is highly directional so try it in different locations For $37 shipped as used it was an okay deal |

works great as a wireless adapter. the signal strength is the best but the internet is still fast. kind of a pain to download the driver but once done works great. |

This is a range limiter!
Comment:
In addition to Netgear's lousy support (especially on refurbs), this limits rather than extends range. My wife's laptop has built-in wireless G. When I installed the WNDA3100 adapter, she went from 4 bars to 2. What a bummer! |

No drivers with the product
Comment:
Haven't installed the product yet because you have to go looking for the drivers on the net. It doesn't come with a CD. Guess what, I don't have the net on that computer that's why I'm buying the adapter so I can get the net. Haven't had time to find a computer that has the net, download the driver, burn it to a CD, bring it back and load it. |

Great product.
Comment:
It works great. I had no problems connecting to my wireless gateway. It is really worth the money. Be sure to test the drivers you download for this unit. My first attempts were problemmatic. I think their server was to blame, I never had a problem downloading driver before this. Any way this is running well on a Vista 64bit desktop. I had one problem, switching one of my desktops from this wireless unit to a direct connection to my router/gateway. If you have any connection issues like not being able to connect through your eithernet port, then uninstall the Netgear driver/device and everything will work as they did before the Netgear install. All in all this product works great. I can access my gateway/modem from most anywhere in my house. Even the front and back porch are in range. |

AWESOME!
Comment:
Prior to receiving this product I read all the reviews, based on some of the comments I downloaded the software and drivers so I was ready. When the package arrived inside was a note giving the details of where to go to get the software and driver; nice touch. I plugged the adapter into a USB port and was connected to my home network within 2 minutes. I would DEFINATELY recommend recertified products to anyone. |

DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 64-BIT
Comment:
smokin combo deal with the netgear wireless N-Router but it was my fault for not researching before i pulled the trigger on the purchase. netgear does not have drivers that support 64-bit systems so dont make the same mistake i did. other the that, good price i guess. |
Setup easy, downloaded software from Netgear web page (Windows updated driver shortly after install). Works with Windows 7 64bit on my HP Pavilion Desktop. Got 300mbps right out of the box without changing any settings.
