I was amazed that this worked with windows 7. I didn't even have to download drivers for it. Windows recognized it immediately. Need to test my new range compared to wireless G.

This was easy to install after you get the drivers. So much easier than the Netgear Super G 108. Performance is awesome. My bedroom is about 70' from the router and I average 243mbps.

Very easy to download driver from website. Had everything set up and was surfing the net in about 15 min (and that includes setting up computer in my daughter's room!). Strong signal strength and extremely easy to use.

Easy to download driver from the Netgear Support website. Installation was a breeze. The setup was hassle free and works like a charm! Just plug in and log on to the internet. Streaming online movies isn't a headache with the N. Great range even wen Im in the basement of my house!

I Just read the other reviews below and it tell you that the software is available on the NetGear site. All you need to do is download the latest version, install and set up like an hp printer. Once you have the software installing it will ask you to install the device then it find your network it so simple. It woks like a charm I am currently in a two story house I have it on a computer in the garage I am looking at for a family member also my router is upstairs excellent signal. I would buy another one when I get a new CPU built. Thank You for Your Awesome prices and selections....

The only issue I had was down loading the drivers off the Netgear site. I had to call there customer service for help. Other than that the item is a refurbished , but has been called recertified which confused me until I opened the box and the paper said refurbished. The item worked as advertised and for the price it is great. Oh just make sure to put the security pin on your router in right when installing LOL.

After trying to connect this to my router for a week, it performs wonderfully. The setup instructions in the refurbished product just say to download the software from the net, and the phone number for questions leads to a pay-per-minute-only option. Eventually I got it to work and the data transfer rates are great.

Works well. Downloaded drivers from NetGear internet site and boom took right off. I use it a lot for mobile computing, work around the office with the laptop and have signal almost everywhere. Great Price.

This is the best deal out there. It would have cost me $50 more at two national chain stores I checked. Set up was a bit challenging for a home user but other than that, I can't say anything negative. It shipped the same day I ordered it and got it 2 days later. I tried it in 4 different locations and it worked everywhere. Much to my surprise I can't find a ''dead zone''. Speed is excellent; only once I noticed it would slow a bit after a few hours use. Very happy with both TigerDirect.com and the product.

Bought this to go with dual band router. Signal strentgh is better than the netgear G PCI adapter I was using and it connects at an average of 108mps one floor away. The problem is gaming. Since installing this adapter when playing BF2142 I get a ''problem with your connection'' warning every 30 sec or so. Makes it hard to game. This could explain file transfer problems I have had as well. However, cannot comfirm transfer problem for sure. Great for internet though.

I bought this and it worked it fine. I receive a strong signal one floor apart and on the opposite side of a closed layout 4,000 sq. ft. house. However, it does not work as well as other Netgear adapters that I have, such as the WN121T and the WN311T. The benefit of this product is that it small and portable, but to get that small size you do give up some signal strength. The antennas are small and positioned closer together. This is true of most USB thumb sized adapters. Also, for fair disclosure... I used this with a Netgear WNR834B router. I have not tried out the 5ghz band or the dual band function, which is suppose to be better. I also have a Linksys WRT300N. The connection was a little bit stronger and more stable with a Netgear router. There still seems to be an advantage to sticking with an all netgear or an all -whatever brand- wireless system, even though all draft 802.11N brands work together.
