NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Comment:
Nice sturdy metal, lots of ball bearings that ride smooth. It was a Habey rail for a Habey drive case but see under. It came missing a single of the L-brackets = useless. The directions had been pathetic, wrong, and had tiny images with impossible to study labels due to poor photocopying. The Smaller brackets were a mystery... If you use the top hole and the bottom hole it'll perform in a standard rack. Don't know what the other holes have been for. Holes for side rails didn't line up properly, although the instructions say to use "eight" screws, you'll be fortunate if six holes are useable. I know that they want to make the rails universal, but this was a Habey rail kit mounting onto a Habey drive storage rack. You'd believe the holes would line up. A lot much better instructions are necessary... even for experienced server builders.

NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Cons:The rail are not for all Norco's casses.

Pros:The price and the rails quality.
Comment:
I bought RPC-430 case and wanted rails from the same manufacture. The ones I have are on Ball Bearing not like the 26". The week points are they can't be shrank more if you need a 17" length it is not possible. I will not complain because Norco is trying to make affordable rack mount products.

NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Cons:only one screw hole lines up on the 430 case

Pros:ok pricefairly strong
Comment:
One of the cheaper rails on the market. They are not the best but not the worst. With the new 430 case the mounting hole in the case is in line with the handle so you can't secure the case in with a screw. There is some grease on the rail which gets on your hands when takeing the rail apart to assemble it to the case. Its a little difficult to align the rails up when putting the server in the rack. Minor issues but should be addressed. I need a few more for other Norco cases so I will have to deal with the issues.

NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Cons:Not compatible with all Norco cases.

Pros:Solid and cheap. Rolls smooth.
Comment:
Does not fit all Norco cases that are on the compatibility list. I had to drill holes in order for them to be attached to the case.

NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Comment:
It mounted this server: Habey RPC-410 Steel 4U Rackmount Server Chassis threeIn my rack. Directions stated "screw 4 screws in every rail to side of case".Only 2 screw holes would match up. It's low-cost. And it's mounted in my rack. Manufacturer Response:The rail is created to work with most rackmount chassis on the market. The holes on the rail are for matching unique chassis. So not all holes have to be matched.

NORCO AC RAIL RL-20 20 3-SECTION BALL-BEARING SLIDING RAIL KIT
Cons: -The bearings can easily be damaged if you are not careful when inserting the case in the rails.-With some very deep cabinets, you will be better with the Norco RL-26.

Pros: -Reasonnably Cheap compared to other rails-Strong enough to support properly the rated weight.
Comment:
They have nothing special. Just cheap rails that can hold easily at least 100 lbs.As stated, the bearings are weakly designed. Once the case is in place, there is no problem to slide it in and out, or to remove it. But when inserting the case, just avoid forcing anything otherwise you could easilly damage the bearings. It will allow you to take your case 20 inches outside of the cabinet. Item 48449 is about the same, but is 26" instead and won't fit in some very small cabinets.
