NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:nonepower supply location
Pros:Priceinterior painted black2 fans included Comment:
I bought this computer case for a customer. It was a great deal at 50$ on special sale. I wanted something different from the usual antec cases and for the price i couldn'T get wrong. The metal is very solid and it won't bend like cheap cases would. I would recommend that case since it is very good quality. + you can install 2 side fans wich is not bad for that case's price segment. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:The interior painting job results in really tight fits for the motherboard offsets. Found it easiest to "tap" them first with a screw.I'm a little worried about long-term wear on the connections to the removable front panel. One wrong move could do some damage.
Pros:Good quality materials and workmanship.Nicely positioned USB eSATA etc if you keep your computer on the floor.Good fan positions and nice removable filter on the front panel. Comment:
Great sale price and $2 shipping. The exterior design is simple without being too plain and there is lots of interior room for any cards or hard drives I will ever want to install. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:None
Pros:Inexpensive, Well made, Good design. Comment:
I got this case to replace a old beige case I used for a small server. Its very industrial looking with lots of cooling mount options, its also tool less for mounting drives. Very good powder coating. Its powder coated on the inside as well outside. it would be nice if the PSU was on the bottom but other wise its a great bargain. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:Some parts feel little flimsy, only 2 front usb ports.
Pros:Price, Style Comment:
Very effective case and a bargain at it`s current price point - I would have liked 4 front USB ports but it wasn`t a necessity for me.Only giving it four starts becasue the dvd/hdd clips are cheap plastic and can break under a small amount of pressure, but otherwise work fine if you don`t force them.Depending on your needs, it could use an additional fan for better airflow |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:it is still a kind of budget case
Pros:All black and are good for most of users except absolutely hardcore gamers. Comment:
All black style to make you happy, not very solid but good enough. If your plan is to build $120-150 video card and $60-90 power supply, you can try this case and it should meet your requirement. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:Price too close to Antec 300 which is a superior case in everyway.
Pros:Better than OEM case Comment:
If you can get this cheap and don't like OEM case, this is a very good choice but if the price is more or less the same as the Antec 300, don't get this case, the 300 is a much better choice and if you can get the 300 under $50 there isn't any other case to beat it in that price range. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:nothing much of note, possibly the light build quality. Lack of an exhaust fan.
Pros:Looks, Price, Ease of use, LEDs. Comment:
Good case for my needs, and on sale with free shipping, it was an awesome deal. It's easy to use and the tooless drive system works pretty well. I took a spare fan I had and stuck it on exhaust and it works fine. For the price you can't get much better. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:Some may not like the blue LED on the front 12cm fan.
Pros:Very solid case with good fan mounting options. Very easy to set a system up, roomy, nice drive rail mounting, excellent price for what you get. Comment:
Bang for your buck with the free shipping deal is excellent. This case looks good sitting next to the more understated Antec Sonata in my opinion. I really can't think of any serious downsides unless you are building a super high performance rig and even then you might get great air flow with a bit of planning on how you configure your fans. Might be nice if it had bottom mounting for the PSU I suppose. |

NZXT Beta Mid Tower Case w/Top USB, Audio
Cons:Lightweight case. Plastic front, drive cage not removeable.
Pros:Black interior, not overly aggressive styling, no doors, top mounted plugs, vented PCI slot covers. Lots of 120mm fan mounts. Comment:
An excellent budget case if the 300 doesnt work for you. Sensible features, and doesnt try to be too trendy.Glad I took a chance on this case (free order shipping promo, pretty much paid for the case).I like the fan mounts and the black interior, but the front plastic bezel is cheap feeling and the vertical "heatsink"-styled lines might not appeal.Another pro is there is a lot of punched-steel mesh (drive bay covers, sidepanel, rear PCI slot covers). I like that look and cooling function.A great budget case if you want something a litle more gamer-styled than a NSK3480 (which is a better case and includes a great PS and with PP is not a heck of a lot more) This review was modfied by poster @ 07-13-09 01:16 PM |
