Sound travels through the cable The female terminal on this cable is garbage. Male plugs can't fit into it comfortably, they wobble around and fall out. Even this cable's personal male connector can't fit snugly into the female side. Since of the awful female terminal, the sound quality is awful. Even if you manage to get it working, it's clear that your sounds are becoming choked. This cable went straight into the trash.

Excellent, I ordered two for my headset that wasn't that extended. This was capable to extend it three feet with 3 feet left behind the desk just in case. Real cheap, comparing to Greatest Acquire. Retail stores can suck it. Newegg forever. None Hell yeah

length. the connector doesn't fit nicely at all, you have to mess with the jack for an hour just before you get each speakers to perform. i just built my very first pc and considering that everything else worked perfectly out of the box, i was pleased the only dud was this affordable worthless item.

Female end plugs in firm and secure. Plugged into my bookshelves and receiver, I tried but failed to hear any audio high quality loss. Then again, I'm not an audiophile. None.
