the Led panel reproduces colors very well. With time it even gets better.2560x1440 requires Displayport anyway because that protocol transfers the actual data and not the scan lines like hdmi/dvi.And that gives noise free stable picture!It comes with 2 Displayport cables 1 for mini-displayport/Thunderbolt connector, and 1 for standard size display port connect.I use it on PC and on Mac just by plugging those cables into the montior!That was my main requirement.It adjusts height, pivot to 90" and tilts!Its brightness and contrast are linked, so you always adjust them both at the same time with the same pair of buttons.but I find that very practical, as it's quite rare that I need to adjust just the brightness and not the contrast even on other monitorsso don't let this spook you.Very simple to assemble.Very low price and a high quality US support!while assembling I lost the bag of bolts that came with it and couldn't find it. I emailed the support and they UPSed me new ones without any issues. High-five for that.
