This model has a lower native rpm then the sister model. I like my computer quite, so I went with this one. I must say I have a lot of different noctua fans and this one is just as good and quite as the rest. Rubber mounts helped out with vibration also.Easy to install. |
I purchased 2 of these to use as exhaust fans for a server case. Like all Noctua fans, these are amazingly quiet - with 4 Noctua fans, I can actually say my server is silent unless I open the cover and stick my head in it. Yes, you pay more for them - but there's a reason. Also, I wasn't super impressed by the fact that these 80mm fans do not include the rubber pads on the corners like their bigger brothers do (although not surprised, because they're not in the photos).
