Noctua NH-L9A AM2 AM3 FM1 FM2 Low Profile Heatsink Cooler w/ Slim NF-A9x14 92MM PWM Fan
Cons:- not compatible with Giga
Pros:-easy install-low profile-quiet Comment:
Good performing, quiet cooler that's low profile. Bought it for a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI ITX board but found out it's not compatible. The RAM slots are too close. As a workaround I removed the fan mounts and shifted the fan over so that it doesn't get in the way of the RAM and used zip ties instead. |

Noctua NH-L9A AM2 AM3 FM1 FM2 Low Profile Heatsink Cooler w/ Slim NF-A9x14 92MM PWM Fan
Cons:Expensive.
Pros:Quiet. Very low profile. Comment:
I wanted a quiet, very low profile cooler for a very low profile HTPC case. My first choice (at around $35) turned out to be out of stock everywhere in Canada. This unit has a less elegant design and uses lower grade components. There was basically no other choice except to use the noisier stock cooler. Noctua NH-L9A AM2 AM3 FM1 FM2 Low Profile Heatsink Cooler w/ Slim NF-A9x14 92MM PWM Fan
Cons:Not east to install
Pros:verry quite and keep CPU low temp Comment:
If you look for a low profile CPU headsink this is the one for you.. I isntalled this on my HTPC. The fan is quite.. |
Running one on an mITX APU build with no complaints. Cooling performance is night and day when compared to the stock cooler. They've included enough TIM for at least 3 reseats, and the overall quality of the HSF build and included components is top notch considering the price.I'd definitely buy another one if I were looking for a low profile AMD heatsink.
