price is great considering the improvement in performance compared to ddr2s. great performance on stock, but not very good at ocing. used for 2 and 1/2 yrs got 4 sticks of 2gb/ea and still works great. compatibility can be a problem, intel did not test these for compatibility, they work, but can have some problems. my mb is intel x38bt. what ever you do just don't use those memory cooling fans, they dont run that hot, can cause some mb problems, given i fried 2 mainboard, thanks to intel they replaced it with new ones under warranty. given its only $100 for 4gb, excellent value
