Great Ram. No problems at all installing or detecting. Had to manually adjust speed to 1066 from 800, but that is true with almost all 1066 ddr2 out there right now. Good performance.

This RAM is definitly worth buying its fast reliable and the best part is that it is cheap. By default the RAM is set to 800 Mhz so you have to go into your BIOS to change it. For those who want to know the specs to change to 1066 Mhz it is 2.0 for volts and the command rate should be set at 2t the timing is 6,7,7,2,0 and the clock speed needs to be changed from 200 to 533 in order to get 1066 if u do that it should work fine i done the exact same thing and it improved alot

This has definitely amped up the performance of my PC, and moved my Windows 7 RC 64 rating up from 5.6 with my 2gigs 800mhz ram, to 7.2 with this 4gig pair. I'm not sure if this just is a feature of my board's channel handling, but with the 800 in the other two slots, I still get the same speeds, frame rates, and 7.2 rating, so I'm convinced the extra 2 gigs helps and not hampers, but eventually I'm still going to get another 1066MHz 4 gig pair (49.99 when I bought it, 47.99 as of this review), but because it's handling all I do with it as is, that'll probably be when/if the price comes down even more.

Athough it works nice I was unable to make it work at 1066mhz it gets only to 800Mhz on my ASUS MB.

I ordered it for my friend. He says it is BAD @$$. He says the best DDR2 memory he has found. Works great, and really added speed to his pc!!! Roccomended to all that wants DDR2.

this is great memory. i didn't have a single problem other than i had to manually set the speed. but buyer beware SOME MOTHERBOARDS CAN ONLY USE TWO STICKS AND SUPPOSEDLY NOT IN DUAL CHANNEL.

I had a bad stick out of the package, the system would not boot, so I was running on one 2Gb stick. Cpu-Z recognized this as only PC6400 memory, not as PC8500. My motherboard is 1066-MHz capable (Asus M3N78 Pro) and the BIOS was manually set for 1066, but the memory was still reported to be slower. I returned the memory and got 8Gb of PC6400, also OCZ brand. TigerDirect was top-notch and provided me a free shipping return label for the memory, another reason I buy from them.

Have this ASUS Pro mobo, execellent memory for the price! Everthing run extremely fast with this memory. Plan to buy more of this same RAM in the future. Definitely, highly recommend this RAM!

I had one stick fail after only a few weeks of normal use. When they worked, they worked very well! This is still some of the best memory you can get for the price. Look out, Corsair...there's a new sheriff in town.

Great product, no problems running it, under-reported by mobo but a little tweaking of the bios got things tuned in very nicely.
