. I have purchased so many ocz memory
Comment:
that are NEVER clockable even ddr2! There is no way this run even close to stable at 1333! DONT BUY ANY OCZ. I had some gold ddr2 800 and it ran at 800 but all the bios recognized it at 667. Same with this - recognized only at 1066! |

Best price at the time and they work great
Comment:
I play a lot of high end games so I wanted the best value in high performance memory and this fit the bill once it went on sale with a rebate. Rebate process is easy too as it can be completed online. Unfortunately I had to drop to 1066 because that's the best my i7 920 will support without tweaking. Still rates 7.5 and gets really high passmarks. No crashes during high-performance games and system is rock solid. I want stability more than speed but this memory delivers both. Recommended. |

Excellence
Comment:
Another outstanding product from OCZ. Fast and reliable with good timings. Overclocked to 1600 MHz for 2 months now and they love it. I'm surprised with many bad reviews. I have never had a bad product from OCZ. |

Definitely Worth It
Comment:
I was ready to get negative on these sticks. I read reviews about a stick or two arriving bad. After I booted up my system to 4GB instead of 6GB I was sure that's what happened to me. So I went through my routine of removing and re-installing but it still didn't show up. I tried one last time and pressed more firmly than I think most of us would like to, and I felt it give ever so slightly. Oddly, it didn't show up until two reboots later, but at least that did the trick. I have these running in an X58 at just under 1600 (with a 190 b-clock) but at CL 9. I love the way my blue case lights reflect off the heat spreaders. My operating system experience index gives me a 7.8 for this memory, for whatever that's worth (and it shouldn't be worth much). If you want a 920 at 3.8GHz or less, this will suffice. More than that, and get the 1600 (or higher). Second time I've tried this brand and they've worked great. Don't ask me why I'm still skeptical about them. |

My bad
Comment:
Bought these with a 50dollar rebate. Forgot I had a rebate and threw away the packaging so now I bought these for full price haha. Great sticks definitely compete with the competition (starts with a C ends with air). Great to overclock with and they look flashy. |

Beware
Comment:
Two of 3 sticks were DOA, I am building a pc and this is very dissapointing.... Prob will not ever buy from this company again. Also it was on the compatability list for my mobo so should have worked. |

Cons:None
Pros:The ram itself looks really greatGood price when on sale at 170$Never had a problem with OCZ before Comment:
Got this for my first computer that I built myself. My OS and BIOS only pick up that I have 4gb though. Tried updating the BIOS but still the same problem. I will eventually get to overclock it but for now it's performing very well in all games and other activities. |

One of Three Bad
Comment:
One of the three sticks was DOA. BIOS post only reported 4g. I thought it might be a bios limit. Win7-64 also reported 4g. I removed all 3 sticks and posted with only 1 stick at a time. Two sticks posted fine and bios reported 2g each time. One stick wouldn't post at all. Just a warning about buying multi-packs, if one fails, you have to RMA all of them in the pack. |

Excellent product
Comment:
Very happy with this purchase. Benchmarks much higher than expected. It does run a little hot during heavy use. But, only 1 to 2 degrees hotter when overclocked. That was a nice surprise. Direct cooling eliminated that. |
ive heard a lot of negative reviews on DOAs thank god mine was fine works amazingly especially for its price tHanks ocz
