OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
None, so far.
Pros: Small, cheap, works. Comment:
There's not really much to say about this thing, other than it's just another run-of-the-mill USB flash drive, and it works as you'd expect, i.e. not terribly fast, but is rather handy for moving files around easily.Although this does the same thing as my old Kingston flash drive, it's much better looking, the cap fits a lot better, and the activity light is also easier to see when in use.If 4GB is enough space for you, this drive seems to be as good as any other, and better than some. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Too bad that the drive is definitely defective!Writing speed is 2.6 MByte/sVerifying speed is 20.6 MByte/s.For 2 times, I reformatted the drive and immediately run the test. For 3 times in a row, it gives different errorsdue to DEFECTIVE DEVICE.Here is the first test result:The media is likely to be defective.3.7 GByte OK (7872560 sectors)47.9 MByte DATA LOST (98256 sectors)Details:47.9 MByte overwritten (98208 sectors)0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors)24 KByte corrupted (48 sectors)16 KByte aliased memory (32 sectors)First error at offset: 0x000000000f10c030Expected: 0x485312edb4dbcd30Found: 0x485312e9b4dbcd30
Pros: The red activity light is easy to see.The drive is formatted in FAT32 and is quickly detected by Windows. Comment:
Good luck to you if you have not had any problem yet withthis particular flash drive.First time buying a OCZ flash drive. Very disappointed with what I got!Flash drive is already a mature product. Why we still findsome lemons? Similar to DOA device!Manufacture quality control is questionable on OCZ flash drive!I am not sure if I will get a replacement without payingthe shipping of the defective drive. Otherwise it's a waste. Please be aware and test your device!!! |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Plastic cap is flimsy. Quite slow.
Pros: I got this from the raffle tickets at the SkyCity opening. It's cased in metal, and was free. Comment:
I never really liked OCZ, but they do make affordable entry level products that are quite cheap. Sometimes they don't work perfectly, but they get the job done and keep some money in your pocket, even if it gives you a little headache... |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
None
Pros: Great price and reliable brand Comment:
Bought this on sale. Great little USB flash drive. I use it mainly for school and for carrying around. Transfer speeds are within normal parameters for a drive of this caliber. No issues so far, can't go wrong with one of these. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
None yet
Pros: Cheap, looks nice? Comment:
I got this for cheap on a weekly sale, and it had a $3 MIR which I actually applied to, even though the stamp on the envelope cost one dollar on its own. Anyways, no complaints. There isn't a lot more to say, these things are pretty simple. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Not the fastest write speed.
Pros: Works well. Fast transfer speeds. Comment:
This is a solid, fairly well build flash drive. I have an OCZ Rally 2, and the case the drive is in has broken now on 2 different models. The back casing falls off - it seems the adhesive holding it isn't very strong.Because of the curved design, this OCZ diesel feels more solid, and I believe that the case won't fall off on this model. We'll see! |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
- Slow- Cap cannot be attached to the other end (therefore can be lost easily- Plastic
Pros: - Slick- Blue LED on the end flashes during data transfer- Keychain attachable Comment:
I bought this USB drive as a spare in case I needed for stuff like Data transfers. The main downsides are that it is slow and that the cap can be lost pretty easily. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Slow, slower than Voyager Mini
Pros: Tight fitting capCheap after rebate Comment:
Bought this drive along with the Voyager Mini to do quick Win7 x64/x86 installs. For this function, they both work equally well, but before I blasted Win7 on them, I did some file copy tests and the Voyager Mini came out on top by a big margin. The one thing I really like about this drive is the cap - it fits on very snuggly. There's no way it can be accidentally dislodged. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
None
Pros: Solid build, large blue led, compact Comment:
The drive has a solid build with a large blue activity led at the end. 1/4 smaller than the average flash drive. The write speed was just OK. With the rebate, the item was cheap. |

OCZ Diesel 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
- Various read and write speeds with two of the same size capacity models- Warranty through product manufacturer ONLY.- No placement cap holder or a hole on the cap to tie a string to
Pros: - Cheap price A/R- Small (2.25 inch - length)- Metal Casing? Comment:
I've got two of these and they both have different read and write speeds. On a real world transfer test I was getting average Read speeds of ± 25 MB/sec and the other ± 15 MB/sec, while the write speeds were 5 MB/sec and 3 MB/sec respectively. I would still purchase this model over this particular brand I came across which was ALOT slower than the slowest Diesel drive I have. |
bought it to put win 7 64 on,nice when you want to install win7 on a pc with no dvd drivealso it's suppose to be a faster install will see
