Came with a barebone deal. Everyone says use corsair, but i have had no issues with OCZ. Its very fast, stable, and can be OC, which you need to do if you want 1333mhz. Standard setup was 1066mhz/1.5v/7-7-7-26. OC = 1333/1.8/9-9-9-20. Overall its a great setup, will work with non-vista64/win7 o/s, since its only 4gb. Should you want to double it to 8gb, be sure to run vista64 or win7 ultimate. x32 platforms do not support more than 4gb!! |

Very fast and stable ram. Installed this on an Intel BOXDP45SG LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard with Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor. The MB automatically set the ram to run as 1066mhz @ 1.5v. I read up and made sure to update my BIOS on the MB and I was able to set the ram to 1333mhx/1.7v/9-9-9-20. These settings are running extremely fast and stable. you must update your BIOS before you do this or you may run into POST problems, or stability issues. I bought this ram on TD for 1/2 the price of other online stores. Thanks TD!!!!! |
I have been using OCZ RAM for about 6 years now. The RAM is always reliable, never faulty, and always lightning quick. This specific RAM lives up to those expectations and more. I have a total of 8GB in my new rig and couldn't be happier! Would definitely recommend this and any other OCZ RAM to anyone for a gaming rig, or just wanting a fast rig!
