OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: Unstable over 1.45V on P7P55...

Pros: Good Cl state, high voltage for overclockinh
Comment:
A good bought for someone need 8gb on socket 1155/1156, but if you overclock don't go over 1.45 the OCZ ram don't tough it... but for the same price DDR3-1600 will be better.

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: compatibility issue

Pros: With heatspreader
Comment:
Please be careful OCZ RAM; its price is cheaper than other brands but please think about again before pay, because OCZ memory doesn't have good compatibility with motherboard; for example, right now I have OCZ gold DDR3-1333 RAM, tried two new motherboards, both gave me troubles: one was Gigabyte board, put OCZ ram on, couldn't boot-up the computer; then a few weeks later, put OCZ ram on another MSI board, bootup looked okay, but when installed Windows 7, BIG TROUBLE, freezed between installation at last showed me BLUE SCREEN, had to change to Kingston memory. For someone, OCZ ram is okay, they give 3~5 stars, that's why I leave 3 stars here; but for me, hi hi hi...

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: (Not strictly a weakness, but to some 1.65V is not considered "low voltage"; however, a single kit will operate at 1.5V or less from my experience)

Pros: - 4GB per module.- Work at low voltages for single dual channel pair.- Fit under low heatsinks.
Comment:
I have two of these sets installed on a Gigabyte H57M-USB3 mATX board with an i5-650, at the rated timings (Command Rate set to 1).With four slots filled (16GB) at 1333Mhz, I have to run these at 1.62V to be stable, which is similar to their rating. With only two modules in dual-channel, I have been able to run them as low as 1.4V at 1333Mhz (i5-650 underclocked to 3.06GHz, QPI Link 6.4GHz).I was able to tighten the timings if underclocking the memory to 1066, but did not test them extensively in this configuration. They fit underneath a Big Shuriken heatsink, though the innermost slot on my motherboard is a very tight squeeze that may require removal of the heatsink. My only complaint is that I bought the first set the week before they went on sale (ouch).

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: None So far.

Pros: 8GB of memory. How can you complain for such a price.
Comment:
OCZ have done an excellent job with bringing the latencies of their memory down, while providing some very nice overclocking headroom at the same time.

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: none

Pros: works4gbprice
Comment:
Works great with my AMD 1090T X6 CPU and Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3. No problems, run memtest fine for 2 hrs and in dual channel mode. Cheapest 4gb modules.

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: One was DOA.

Pros: Runs as rated on MSI 890FXA-GD70 w/ 1090T
Comment:
Works fine on an AMD system if you up the voltage from 1.5 to 1.65 as required by the ram. Other then one stick being dead out of the package and haveing to rma it, very pleased. tempted to get another set and have 16GB ram for video editing.

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: Poor compatibility in dual channel mode.

Pros: Large capacity.
Comment:
I have tested these modules in an EVGA FTW and a Gigabyte P55A UD3 motherboard and neither will run in dual channel mode without errors. Single modules test fine but there are a lot better ways of getting 4 gb of memory. Apparently these high density modules are not yet ready for prime time.

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: Can't comment cause I won't be overclocking these testing the limits. Works as needed.

Pros: Bought two of these kits, put them on an asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3, oDDR1333, passed memtest86+ v4.10 1 pass easily and going hard 50% into the 2nd pass.
Comment:
Was worried about the other review but went ahead anyways and bought two kits for 16gb of ram. I'm not over clocking or anything and building a little consumer class server Need to host a bunch of VMs and passing the memtest with no errors should be gold. Memtest running at 2hrs and 35mins at the time of this writing :)

OCZ Gold 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Low Voltage Desktop Memory
Cons: Would not work in dual channel.

Pros: None to mention really.
Comment:
We ordered one set of these and we soon discovered they would not work in dual channel as expected.Honestly, I will just never ever buy OCZ again, as for the 3 sets of 2 DIMMs we have acquired in the last month (6 DIMMs in total), 100% had something wrong, either memory failures or dual channel not working.Do NOT buy this, you will end up with problems.
