I primarily purchased this for the modular nature of the wiring. I have 6 hds and need to manage my wiring better. For two years now, this has been a reliable and quiet PS. I would highly recommend it, but would like to add a precaution that other model of OCZ PS have reliability issue.

Very nice PS. I like the modular cables. Really qiuet. I even got the rebate. Cables a tiny stiff with the loom protection but nonetheless manageable. I wish it had 1 much more PCI-E cable as my Video card necessary two connectors.

I bought this in a sale for a build I have been planning for a while. It is a great product, does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have barely been able to put a 50% load onto it though (going by the watt-meter it is plugged into), so I do need to try and stress it someday to see how noisy it gets.My PSU fan makes an odd tick sound when it idles too low. This is a disappointment to me, I should search around and see who else had this issue. Maybe it is something OCZ can fix.Short cables is a common complaint and I should have heeded that warning. I needed to get a 4-pin extension cable in order for the cable to reach stress free in the Fractal Arc MIDI case.So I will only knock one start off for the fan, seeing as the short cables were well "documented".

Extremely quiet regardless of the energy rating of 600w, operating it with a AMD processor and MSI motherboard. Fits perfectly in my Coolermaster HAF 922 Midtower. Not in a position to truly put it through it's paces yet, and had to wait until soon after christmas to put it with my other equipment....

I have this power supply in my Cooler Master 690 and i was in a position to put the motherboard plug about the back of the case. You cant hear the fan which is fantastic. Got this with rebate and 10$ off coupon which is a fantastic price for an 80+ 600 watt PSU.

Very happy with this power supply. Got it on special with an extra MIR. Was very easy to install and is currently powering a sandy bridge i5 with a GTX560. Modular is always a plus for airflow and cleanliness inside the case. Easy of use and good quality build, so far running smoothly.

It's quiet, modular, and includes meshed cables - all contribute to a general appearance of quality. My only gripe is that it's not clear that it is more suitable for top mounting. Bottom mounted in a Fractal Design R3 mid-tower case, the main 24 pin and the EPS 8 pin cables are slightly short, preventing routing behind the mobo. The SATA power plugs are also oriented for top mounting and require an awkward doubling back if bottom mounted which, again, may leave the cable slighty short for the best appearance.

Great price over boxing week ($30 after MIR). Been running fine for a month now. It's also nice and quiet and looks great if you have a window case. It's modular as well so you'll save a lot of room in your case if you don't use all the cables. Only downside is that the cables are a little on the short side. In a mid tower case with a fairly large graphics card it just barely reaches the 4 pin power connector at the top of the motherboard.

It comes with a good bag to hold the added wires you didn't useIt's pretty... So, I got this factor thinking due to the fact it was Modular, it would be a nice upgrade from my Antec Earthwatts. The Antec worked wonderful, but just didn't appear pretty with all the loose wires and such. Considering that this thing was initially ๳.99, and was แ.99 soon after Discounts and Rebates, I jumped at the opportunity.Major Mistake. The cords are way too brief. I read about this issue in other reviews, but figured to take a chance anyways due to the fact some people tend to exaggerate. No 1 is exaggerating. In fact, I don't consider anybody emphasized adequate how short they were in these evaluations, so I will be the 1st to do so. The mobo power cable was about a foot lengthy, hardly lengthy adequate to snake through the case for a "clean appear." Rather, I had to run it below all my PCI cards and around the CPU. The other power wires were just short sufficient, that I had to run many wires. They are also extremely awkward. Power provide has been solid, no concerns at all. The ฤ.00 rebate in the form of a prepaid VISA has been a nightmare. They processed the rebate speedily and my card arrived about 6-weeks later. Unfortunately, when I went to use the card two weeks later it had a balance of .34 cents. I live in NY and apparently a person utilized my card number in Georgia...that's some kind of rebate alright.
