Really quiet, runs ever so slightly warm to the touch -much cooler than most. Massive bag for cables. My very first modular and loving it. It's not 80+ Gold, and it's not internally DC to DC. But it price me 1ǚth of those run. Received rebate card in 7 weeks. It had the full balance.

Seemed like a good deal for a modular 600W PS. ($50 AR) The previous one I had, a coolermaster extreme (or whatever) 550W, apparently would blow hot air into the case! Because as soon as I put it in, my video card cooler would spin up--much louder than it was before. Then with this new OCZ everything is back to normal. It could just have been my configuration however (antec P160 case, large fanless ninja cpu cooler, GTS250). In any case, the OCZ seems like twice the power supply for the money. I had to use all but one of the cable jacks on the PS, just 'cause I only needed 1 or 2 of the connectors on each cable. Maybe they could have cables with multiple connector types... Speaking of which, this unit comes with a zipper CASE for your extra cables! This certainly is a gamer's PS...recommended.

I had this thing a year and a half before it bit the bullet. I rma'd and received another one from OCZ and this thing is defective also. I will never buy PSU from OCZ again. Such is life

It works fine and it will be affordable if you can get your rebate back. The ฤ OCZ rebate card issued by Citi Bank was applied by somebody else in Union City, GA, even prior to I received it! If you call Citi Prepaid to complain and ask them to send you a new prepaid card, they will request signature from a notary public! Although I have purchased three sets of RAM and three PSU from OCZ in three years, I will not think about any OCZ rebate supply when I look for RAM/PSU/SSD/USB drive in the future. With no price benefit, related items from CXXSXXX could win quickly.

It's 80 plus certified and it is also modular. Has not stuttered in performance on me when but. I would just like to preface this by saying that I installed it in a mid tower Cooler Master HAF 922. The power cords are too short, but the principal dilemma is the 4 pin CPU power cord. It BARELY reached it's spot on the motherboard. I had to strap it over my GPU (EVGA GTS 450) and it BARELY reached the socket. If you have a GPU with dimensions taller than my card you would Want an extension cable. If you are finding a full tower forget about this PSU. No cables will reach without having extensions. Something smaller than a mid tower would be golden with this PSU. Just to clarify, I was able to connect all of the cords without extensions, but cable management is presently impossible for me without extensions.Also, it says it is SLI/Crossfire ready, but I would not do so with only 600 watts. Every little thing about this item is fantastic except for one factor. Power cable lengths. The main difficulty, once again, is the 4 pin CPU connector. It is a huge challenge in my opinion. Replaced a broken enermax energy supply and has by no means looked back because. So silent you can hardly hear the fan unless you have bionic ears.Adore the fact that it is modular as well, no clutter of wires, just use the cables that you will need. So far so good! No cons here I have 2nd thoughts at 1st, I commonly buy the ever dependable ANTEC brand but you cannot go wrong with the cost I paid for.

Fantastic cables for a contemporary motherboard. Read lots of articles about it and it seems like a quite superior item. Absolutely nothing greater for the price. It runs my HD6870 video card, my two hard drives, seven fans, and my motherboard like a champ. None. If I ever want to crossfire I guess I would require far more watts since the Newegg's psu calculator says I want about 530 watts in my existing set up. I see a dual psu set up in my future except for that I'm way tired of acquiring computer stuff.

-Plenty of power to all your parts-Sufficient sata and peripheral connectors for the typical person-Modular None so far Fairly great price for a 600w PSU, in particular soon after the rebate. It's modular, so you only use the connectors that you will need, meaning you save a lot of space. The connectors themselves come in a extremely good zippered bag for storage.

*Large 135mm cooling fan makes this PSU super quiet.*Active PFC keeps all voltages rock stable.*Modular design and appealing black finish makes this PSU good for modded circumstances. *Included cables are a bit short.*Would have been nice to have had 4 PCIe adapters for SLI or Crossfire with cards that call for two PCIe connections.*Only two Molex connectors per strand is ample for most applications but could be restrictive for some builds. 600 watts is plenty for most single card solutions and running two lower energy graphics cards. Although I mentioned only two PCIe adapters as a con, I doubt this PSU would have enough grunt to run double PCIe cards in SLI/Crossfire anyway.Bought this in a combo deal with an ASUS HD4870 for 179.99. At current costs and right after rebates, That made this PSU basically free of charge!

This is a great value at the price I got it. The 600 watts should be enough for most unambitious builds. Nice and quiet and seems to be performing great so far. Definitely a great value, and even better when it's on sale. Can't imagine a better value for a regular build!

Got it with an instant rebate & MIR. When I started the MIR process, I could only request a gift card option. No cheque. I don't recall reading the MIR was a gift card at purchase. They should advertise it more clearly. Almost forget. The cables are short.

Awesome power supply, and modular to boot! This PSU used to be $100+!The Modular cables are an absolute boon - it makes cable management much easier, and you often won't need to use all of the cables.

Cables were more than long enough to reach everything in the Acer case I put it in. Moduler cables ensured that I don't have extra wires hanging around in the case as it is small. Great for a budget build, very quiet, and it looks nice in the case. I had $300 budget to ugrade my son's comp and this should run anything he might want to add for some time to come. Very quiet! I was able to add a better cpu cooler, a gtx 450, extra 500 gig Hd, a couple of fans and a card reader. Very happy with purchase, would buy again.

Although this is a lower quality PSU compared to others, it is a great budget psu. Very cheap $30 after rebate and great for those who want best bang for the buck.

Bought this for a media center PC slowly turning into a Mid gaming tower, Did what I needed it to do which was power a ATI 3870x2 that my other higher wattage lower quality PSU couldn't handle. Pretty quiet at least compare to the 3870x2 fan noise when gaming. 40$ after rebate which I just got a week ago. Took a while but OCZ has never failed with the MIR.
