I've been using Vertex 2 and 3 SSDs for my own computers for a while now. Picked this up on sale for a buddy and so far I am very impressed.Speed is excellent (as you'd expect from an SSD).We put two partitions on the drive, one NTFS for a Windows (7) install and one EXT4 for a Linux (Debian) install - both partitions aligned. Performance is excellent in both.Only downside is it does not come with a 3.5 in mounting bracket, so if your case doesn't have a mount for a 2.5 in drive you will need to buy a bracket or rig something up (cable ties work well enough).
