OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
-First set was bad
Pros: +Cheap+Good timings Comment:
I needed some inexpensive memory. The first set was just out right bad(would not pass memtest even underclocked). A quick RMA later I had the second set. It does not seem to like to run h 1333 on my AMD system. Did not test it on the Intel one since it ran at tight timings at 1066 anyway. This may be ok for a budget system, but I have had patriot and corsair memory without any of these issues.Either way, I would be iffy recommending this to people in the future. |

50% is what I got
Comment:
Ordered this to build a new PC. One stick was dead so reordered and got the second package very quickly. Again, one stick was defective, so I returned both the defective sticks for a credit. OCZ should be ashamed to sell untested junk like this. this site should consider dropping thier products until their testing improves. |

Don't buy
Comment:
I bought this for my system. After install, computer automatically shuts off randomly. Memory test returns hundreds errors after one pass. |

Works for me
Comment:
I wouldn't buy this again. The default settings for this memory are incorrect and will cause system instability. I wouldn't mind if they defaulted to a more stable configuration, but they don't and I find that unacceptable. It took me a few days of random reboots and BSODS to figure out it was the memory (see above!) But they're running stably after manually adjusting the timings and voltage. They also run unsettlingly hot, almost too hot to touch! For reference, similarly spec'd Kingston ValueRAM barely gets warm under the same conditions. I'd be weary of buying these for over-clocking purposes, and I even question the long-term durability of chips that run so how all the time. |

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:
BSODNo RMA with NCIXGetting run around with OCZ
Pros: NoneNoneNone Comment:
The computer runs fine for short random periods and then blue screens. Took the memory out and tested in another build, with the same results. It failed several Memtest86+ with thousands of errors. Tried manually setting timings and voltage with no effect. I contacted OCZ for an RMA, but they want me to do MORE testing. Very unsatisfactory, will never buy OCZ again. Avoid this RAM and OCZ like the plague. |

Low quality - beware this product!
Comment:
I ordered 24 pairs of this RAM. 9 were bad causing either no boot or BSOD in many PCs. Several others would only work with specific motherboards. Buy any other brand, do not trust OCZ with your computer. |

Excellent RAM

not sure why people had so much issue with OCZ RAMs. So far, they work excellent out-of-the-box. installed on Gigabyte H55M-S2H Intel H55 motherboard. |

RMA'd first time
Comment:
Got 2 x 2gb sticks for 99.99 with a 20 dollar mail in rebate (rebate still pending). Windows install was running really slowly so I popped a memtest cd in and it was spewing errors. this company next-day-aired me the replacements, which so far have been working great. Windows Experience Rates them at 7.5... which is pretty great. BE AWARE, I was afraid of getting these because of the negative reviews, and ended up with 2 defective sticks, doesn't OCZ test these?? |

Great bang for the buck
Comment:
I was shopping for 1333MHz RAM for a MSI 790FX-GD70 build I was doing. After the initial setup of setting the correct voltage, timings and speeds this RAM performed great. 24hrs straight of memtest without a single error. |

Dissapointed
Comment:
Normally I am a happy customer. But this memory will not work with my MoBo for some reason. I get random crashes and OPS that just quit working. With either one stick, it will run for a while but not successfully perform SW updates. Even updating drivers and BIOS I still have problems. I am really dissapointed and must therefore return these for an alternative product. |

satisfied, no complains |
Saw DDR3 ram price dropping so took the opportunity to upgrade, am currently running it with 2x2GB of the non-LV version. All 4 sticks running at 1.65v 7-7-7-20 as advertised, some NB voltage or the other tweaked with info from OCZ's own forums.3 stars for uncertainty on its life warranty.
